  1. Thank you Marie for all the wonderful songs.
  2. Aahhh that's very sad! One of the finest pop rock groups. So many memorable tunes. Rip
  3. Their following album Empire is another classic imo. So many memorable songs like the Grammy nominated Silent Lucidity, Jet City Woman, Another Rainy Night etc. But if I have to compare between the two, Operation Mindcrime, I believe, is better than Empire. Have always admired Chris DeGarmo. This guy is a genius and the person responsible for most of the band's success during their prime years.
  4. What an album!! I think this and Warrant's Dog Eat Dog were two of my favourite discs in the 90s. Though this album was released in the late 80's I only heard it few years after its release. Blew me away the first time I heard it. Classic.
  5. Can't get enuff of this song. Been on loop since Thursday. LeBrock, you guys re the best!! I'd go anywhere with you.
  6. I agree. The song is a beauty. And the last 60+ seconds of the song is even more beautiful.
  7. Just when I thought I had my top 3 songs of the year figured, this gem drops. Fantastic song!
  8. No am not an atheist. Am a firm believer.
  9. Totally agree. My elder brother who listens to nothing but 80s rock every single day but never bothers to check on the net what's happening on the rock scene. He s happy with his Def Leppard.
  10. Couple more I enjoy. Talisker on the rocks is smooooth...
  11. I suggest you give their debut album a listen. It's fantastic.
  12. Lol..then I believe you must be a very attractive man.
  13. Yup, she s that same woman whose singing you couldn't make out if it was english or some other language lol.
  14. I don't think there ll ever be a Marcello Vestry cd 2. Its very sad.
  15. Not a very good sign lol. What say? Among the big names I only really enjoyed The Defiants more than the others. Even my fave bands like Crazy Lixx and WOA in a way left me a little disappointed not coz the albums are poor but perhaps I expected a lot. The other big ones like First Signal and Find Me didn't do much. If not for the vocals I wouldn't be able to distinguish the songs of these two bands. All such Frontiers projects sound the same. My top albums - The Defiants The LRW Project Muna Work Of Art Still haven't heard Pretty Maids and Degreed yet.
  16. I don't think I have ever heard of Sleeper before. Will check them out. The Cranberries?.. Hmmm no, I don't agree. Pale Waves has that synthwave feel, and a bit of pop rock sound to their songs as opposed to The Cranberries which sound like a mixture of alternative and folk rock imo.
  17. I may never embrace her gothic or zombie look or whatever she's trying to portray lol. But their songs - hell yes!! Well, most of them at least. A very good 80s new wave band. Love this song. Simple chord progression but that chorus is an earworm. Its stuck on loop in my head. Other good ones :
  18. 'Nightly is a Nashville-based alt-pop duo that consists of cousins Jonathan Capeci and Joey Beretta. They released their debut EP, “Honest” in 2016 and are continuing to release new music'. I have been listening to this band for a few months now and honestly think they deserve a thread on this forum. Maybe not for everyone here, but for those who like alt pop or synthwave or the lighter stuffs, this won't disappoint you. They sure can write catchy and melodic songs! Totally love them. From 'Talk You Down' EP (2019) : And this is one of the best songs I have heard in a while. From 'Honest' EP (2016) :
  19. Not on par with their previous 3 albums? For me personally, In Progress is their strongest followed by their debut.
