  1. I'm glad they didn't actually. I love "Battle Stations", but I don't think it would have been a good fit for this album.
  2. Darkh - My Curse. From a great album released in 2016.
  3. Thanks for posting mate. Music's great, but I can't get past the Rollins factor. Overrated douche, even as an actor.
  4. Holy shit! Thanks for the "like" Dirk! Great to see you here mate!
  5. Great list as usual guys. I know it's impossible to keep up with everything and the amount of albums you guys are on top of is incredible, but I was surprised to see that "Hittman - Destroy All Humans" didn't get a mention. Not even in anyone's "also rans" list.
  6. Spy vs. Spy - A.O. Mod. An Aussie track from '86. At the time these guys were touted as the next big thing down here, but they achieved nothing. I was never into them, but I did love this basically instrumental track, which was probably their biggest hit and catchy as fuck. I'm sure Doggy remembers these guys. On a side note regarding their name, I used to have a collection of around 200 "MAD" magazines that I'd started collecting from when I was about 10, including vintage 60s and early 70s stuff. I regrettably sold them in my early twenties for fuck all.
  7. Crashdiet - Native Nature. I had to include one of my alltime favourites in this thread.
  8. Another album l can play from start to finish, no skips, no probs. "Spooky" is my favourite, with "Water From the Moon" not too far behind and a special mention to the solo in "Big House". The last clip isn't from this album, but I had to include it on account of it's brilliance.
  9. Great news! I wasn't expecting it this early. Thanks to all who contributed.
  10. Yeah, I wouldn't even bother with major Retail/Department stores, not in Australia at least. Even back in the glory days it wasn't easy getting our type of stuff in those places.
  11. Okay, sounds interesting. Always thought they were very Punk. I've never really given them a go, but based on that, I'll check out "Loose Nut".
  12. Honestly, I'm not particularly familiar with Black Flag's stuff. Not interested. I've always thought Henry Rollins was a muppet.
  13. Yeah, Swagger's great. I spin this track quite a bit actually.
  14. Yeah, this was mentioned on a radio show's "on this day" segment down here yesterday. You're right about Paula Yates. She was very troubled, but I think he was too. He would have been 61.
  15. The Poor - More Wine Waiter Please. One of the best Aussie songs ever from '94, but I dunno? Is this Sleaze? I think it is. They were very much influenced by AC/DC ("OI!"), but I always got a Sleaze vibe from these guys.
  16. I think this is one of the most underrated albums of all time. Not by aficionados such as ourselves, but in general. Another one of my all time favourite albums. The term "all killer, no filler" is used a lot, but this is truly one of those albums IMO. It also has one of the best intros ever (Junkyard Dog) and one of the best "outros" ever (Like a Ritual)! After all these years, I've still never been able to find out WTF the image on the cover is.
  17. That's ok. You were schooled in Canada. I get it.
  18. I was referring to the appalling lack of grammar on display in the post I highlighted.
  19. This has been bothering me for a while now and I had to speak up. Where's the "of"? C'mon Karpet, you're better than that.
  20. Kane Roberts - Twisted. I've been home from work for 2 hours and my "after work" musical journey has led me here. One of the great tracks of "our music".
  21. Listening to this today. This is without doubt one of my all time favorite albums. No question. Killer tracks and gang vocals aplenty. Not a bad bunch of artists involved either.
