What the hell happen to CRUNCH? My understanding is it comes down to logistics, ultimately. Jamie is in Indiana, while the other guys are in NY. They can make it work for a few songs here and there, but everyone's individual schedules and having everything be out of pocket make it difficult to sustain.

I do too. Jamie is making a new Guardian album now. I need to get up with Vic to see what he's been doing since the Liberty N Justice stuff he did...

In this day & age, I agree. The digital market negates the need (IMO) for territories & deluxe versions. Just put all the songs on the album. Or, if you record too many, release the album then release an EP the following year. Or do what some indie labels do...only put the bonus tracks on the physical version...the digital version is the album only.

The second Damn Yankees album is quite good, IMO.

I was just offering my view on the use of the term hipster then offering my opinion on Butch's music...you're the one who got all "bristled"...your problem, not mine.

I did not say "you are"...I said "makes us sound like"...take it easy.

It gets tiresome to see established fans throw around the word "hipster" when talking about new/younger fans...makes us all sound like bitter old washouts. Butch has never put out a bad record...period. He doesn't repeat himself and is constantly moving forward...nothing wrong with that. I like some of his output more than others, but IMO he's incapable of putting out "bad" material.

He said in a Facebook post that he wasn't trying to get rich or even make a living...he just did not want to lose any more money...too much out of pocket with no recoup.

I can understand wanting to be compensated for your time and efforts...but there seems to be a loss of perspective on his part.

I like them both...III is killer!

All the Brother Cane records are good, but of course that first album is fantastic!
