  1. LINE OF FIRE has been added to MRF3! We open the festivities on Friday night w/ an acoustic set! Appearing on Friday night also are Kelly Keeling, Glen Burtnik, Gary Schutt and Eric Martin!!
  2. I was shocked about AG returning!! Shocked and completely stoked!! Even MORE stoked is that Line Of Fire gets to play MRF3 with them!! Whoo!! Saturday night is going to RULE for me w/ AdrianGale, Harem Scarem and W.E.T. all in the same night!!! YES!!
  3. Collateral Damage is a killer record...I love every song.
  4. I think W.E.T. is fantastic...new album is really good!
  5. They recorded a new album or more for Portrait records when Kalodner brought them to the label along with RATT and Great White and those two records didn't do well and that deal fell apart and from what I understand the Cinderella songs aren't owned by the band so they can't release them and I don't think they were completely finished anyway. I think maybe the band sees that touring is so lucrative without the headache of recording new music that probably won't recoup the costs of the recording. It's a shame as I'd love a new release instead of Tom's blues and country style album but I just don't see it happening. Thank God that some of our bands we love like Tesla still enjoy making new music. Portrait probably owns the recordings as opposed to the actual songs...I would think Cinderella could re-record the songs themselves...but who would pay for it? Damn Yankees ended up in the same boat, but the songs were divided up between Jack Blades, Styx & Ted Nugent albums (re-recorded each time)...
  6. Yesterday was the first time I have ever heard or heard of them...it's a shame because their stuff is really good.
  7. Got my copy @ Walmart. Brilliant...fantastic...bloody awesome!! I've spun it 6 or 7 times now and every song is killer...
  8. At this point, I don't expect an album...releasing singles as they're ready is smart, IMO. Takes the pressure of a full album off. His fans don't seem to mind dropping $1 every few months or whatever when he puts a new song out. I think it's cool he's doing it his own way. He doesn't have to bother with record companies, pressing, distribution, inventory, etc. He's not the kind of artist that's out clamouring for new fans or people that have never heard of him. He's playing to his fans, and his fans are cool with it.
  9. The bridge in "Die Off Hard" (ie, "it's been a long time comin'") was the pre-chorus to another, completely different song which is on "The Early Years" demo comp...can't recall the title though. If I remember correctly, only that one bit was resurrected in "Die Off Hard"...the rest of that original song was scrapped.
  10. Just chiming in to state that, IMO, "Die Off Hard" is pretty much a perfect hard rock song...
  11. Dont hear that every day. I love both eras but to me the Kramer era had more grit and their two voices together was something special. Yeah, that usually kinda surprises people. I agree that their voices together are really good...and I do like the Kramer albums...but, to me, the Beiler albums are more layered and varied. I just like the vibe of them...
  12. I really like Saigon Kick, specifically the post-Lizard era more so than the Kramer-fronted era. I would like to hear what they'd come up with in terms of new music, though...Belier is awesome.
  13. I don't want to say they suck, because there is obvious talent there...but it's definitely not for me. I can't get into it...
  14. Mason is a badass. I've seen FireHouse 4 times and all 4 times, CJ kicked all kinds of ass.
  15. As good as Toby is, and Peterik obviously, PoL just never clicked with me...I don't know why.
  16. What bits I have heard of this are really good. Harry Hess can do no wrong in my eyes, so I don't anticipate not loving this album once its in my hands.
  17. Nevertheless is a fantastic record!
  18. I'm glad you guys dug the song...sorry for the late reply.
  19. I am really glad you dig the CD man...I was happy to be a part of it!
  20. Rick is a damn genius. I love his stuff. I've been on kind of a kick lately w/ his later material and am loving it. I look forward to this new album...
