  1. I was sure that Y&T had already been added but could be wrong. I don't see them listed yet on the Rock Gone Wild website but if it they are already booked all the better!
  2. Rumor has it and this is just rumor but they might add these bands soon: Jackyl, Armored Saint, Saving Abel, Firehouse, April Wine, Phil’s LA Guns, Y&T and Dokken I have sold and am still selling a bunch of stuff on Craig's list that has been laying around my house for years just to get my Platinum ticket yesterday! They sent an email out over the weekend that a sponsor had 5 platinum tickets for the price of a VIP. I grabbed one. Maybe they have some left?
  3. Probably the same email I had this morning and my first thought was the same as yours, that I'd won free tickets. But no...
  4. I've never checked it out. Not much of a chat person I guess.
  5. I just bought my ticket today. Just curious if anyone else is going? Be great to meet anyone from the board that is heading there.
  6. Sweet, some stuff you all posted I have not heard so now I have some more stuff to find!
  7. How can we be sure that is actually her breast? I mean really, how can we?! So much uncertainty. Seriously though, she would be much more attractive if she wasn't such an idiot. There's a difference between bad girls (oooohhh yeah) and stupid girls (eh)....and, uh, "mean girls".
  8. Turkey's struttin' in the neighbors yard...
  9. "I'll deliver the techni-color hand fruit for ya!"
  10. They must have pressed some faulty cd's then. Oh well. Yep, that's what I did...downloaded the one MP3 and cropped the other to the correct length.
  11. Being in IT I know the pains of upgrades...they are necessary evils. In the end they usually bring more good than bad, especially once the users get used to the changes. I have not been on the board long enough to know enough about what has changed. Either way, thanks a ton for the all the hard work keeping this up and running!
  12. Angelica - Never heard anything by them, but now I have another cd to keep an eye out for. Cry Wolf - ditto D'Molls - ditto Extreme - S/T only because like everyone else I was crankin' Mutha Dont Wanna Go To School Today on the way to school every day Guardian - don't have anything by them House Of Lords - I gotta go against popular opinion it seems and choose Sahara. Chains of Love is a favorite of mine. The S/T is good too. Jetboy - S/T, close call Living Color - I only own Vivid. Don't really care for this band. Vixen - tough choice here...Rev It Up's Love Is A Killer...great song. Warrant - Cherry Pie, barely over DRFSR. Saw them when they opened for Poison. Mr. Rainmaker one of my all time favorites. Winger - another tough one, in fact I cannot remember how I voted! Probably S/T. Hangin' On, Hungry, etc. etc.

    Weird Al

I own Weird Al's DARE TO BE STUPID album mainly for "Yoda." I know the lyrics to that one better than the lyrics to the Kinks' "Lola," which it parodies. If I'm in the car and "Lola" comes on the radio, I've been known to sing the "Yoda" lyrics over it. I even went so far with my second favorite Weird Al parody, Theme From Rocky, to try to sing over the top of Survivor's Eye Of The Tiger on Rock Band 2. Aside from the fact I can't sing, it was a complete failure. But fun trying!
  14. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt at first, but when I re-read the part about me having to send a money order BEFORE I get a Paypal refund....seemed like a scam at that point. I did email the seller back and say that I had a receipt from Paypal that the funds were transferred and there was no reason to hold the CD. I emailed a second time stating I was not sending a money order and I would have to file a claim and leave negative feedback if necessary. No response. The other Ebay buyer that left a negative feedback for this seller...I did send that buyer a message through Ebay asking if he or she would mind telling me what happened, if they eventually got the cd, etc. No reply yet. We'll see. I'll post an update here if I get one. Thanks for the "glass half full" reply...gives me some hope.
  15. I never did understand our so called justice system. Releasing known terrorists from our military prisons has been a new favorite of mine.
  16. Well I probably had it coming. Before bidding I said to myself, "they have zero feedback, think twice". So I went against better judgement because I really wanted that original Tigertailz Young and Crazy cd in mint condition. So I shelled out $20 for it and get this email the next day: "Hi, I apologiZe for not getting with you sooner but been ill. I suffer from chronic pain and other disabilities that limit my functioning and quality of life. That being said I got into this as a hobby to have some fun and sell some cd's. But I find out paypal is compromising my products and money as well as delaying transactions. They are putting all my payments as a new seller "on hold". Which makes the funds inaccessible to me and therefore not fair or ethical on their part. I cannot ship anything out when I have no access to payments. So if you already paid by paypal I will give you the option to refund your payment after you pay me via money order and I will ship out your cd as soon as I get the money order from you. If you haven't already paid by paypal, please do NOT do so. I am quickly finding out they are not a condusive business establishment to endeavor with and am not well enough to deal with the ongoing hassles stemming from their inability to treat sellers properly. Thx, - angelface2222" I laughed a little to myself knowing that I probably deserve it. Only after I send a money order will I get a refund...too funny, scumbag. Anyway, I see today this seller has a negative feedback from another buyer who shelled out $95 for This Time We Mean it by REO Speedwagon. Real bummer for that buyer. I probably dont need to post this warning since you are all probably smarter than me but I will anyway!

    Weird Al

Have you ever Weird Al's song "Yoda"? Personally my favorite of his Star Wars parodies.
  18. I was just posting to another topic and one of those songs came on that gives me goose bumps every time. There are different ones that do it for me, but this one happened to be... Leatherwolf - Thunder Everytime that beat starts and then when they hit that chorus: "(I am the thunder) That starts the rain (I see the heavens) Open the gates (I am the lightning) That lights up the sky (I have the answer) The secret is mine" Would've loved to see this live with 20,000 plus rock heads back in the day. Ahhh, the good ol' days. So what song "does it" for you?
  19. I didn't read all the posts but I'll toss a few out there for debate...may not all exactly fit the format you're debating, but... MSG - Gimme Your Love / Anytime Shy England - Love On The Line (poorly produced but I've always like choruses that alternate between solo and group vocals...most probably do, but in a very distinct way) Alias - Haunted Heart Beau Nasty - Gemini Every Mother's Nightmare - Sympathy White Lion - Broken Heart Triumph - Turn My Back On Love Giant - Innocent Days Seventh Key - You Cross The Line Of course I'll back the Tyketto - Forever Young posts from earlier!
  20. Zach 'Course whenever they go by first name he'll be last in line for everything.
  21. Nope, we are not looking for anything specific in terms of biblical or traditional so it's pretty much open to anything. Looking at some of the suggestions so far, maybe you shouldn't be open to anything!
