I had a little laugh at one of the seller response comments to him went something like, "I knew I eventually run into one like you on here. What comes around goes around."
How true it is.
Before making it to the greatest hits release, wasn't Great White's Wasted Rock Ranger on the cassette single for Once Bitten Twice Shy?
I could be wrong, but I seem to remember cruisin' around in my car with one of Great White's cassette singles and Wasted Rock Ranger being on there.
Yep, those were the other reissues I was thinking of getting if the Perris Records ones were not very good.
If you think to have a look and let me know I'd appreciate it, thanks!
I ask because I bought a couple of Every Mother's Nightmare cd's from them a few years back and not that there is anything "wrong" with them just that the packaging was pretty minimal and not well done. The front booklet wasn't even a booklet just a fold over and the color and print for the inserts looks like is was done on my home printer. The cd was fine. Just not much effort put into the whole package.
I was just curious if they put a little more into the Nasty Idol reissues. If not I might get one of the other reissues.
I tried a little over the winter while the wife had it on.
It seemed ok but that back and forth love/hate between partners thing gets old.
Maybe I'll watch a few more if the wife starts watching again.
I would take:
Vain - No Respect (you really don't have to press the fast forward button once for this one)
Shotgun Messiah - Second Coming (again, not a bad song on the disc...and a little attitude for cruisin')
Skid Row - Slave To The Grind (again solid front to back)
Alias - S/T (a little lighter but good if the wife can't stand the louder stuff)
Whitesnake - Good To Be Bad (only a year old and a good mix of songs)
Babylon A.D. - S/T
Dokken - greatest hits (ya gotta do some rockin' with Dokken)
Giant - Last Of The Runaways or Time To Burn (good cruisin' music)
Did you mention where you are heading to? Maybe you didn't want to. Anyway, have fun.
Interesting pick! Personally I like those cd's overall. Maybe not a lot of stand out tracks compared to Hideway. Thunder is my favorite Leatherwolf tune and The Calling, Street Ready, The Way I Feel are a couple of other good Leatherwolf tracks.
At least you got them cheap!
That was pretty good....then they showed old highlights of a Packer fan tossing beer another opposing player that tried the Leap. Though I don't know if I would have wasted the beer that was funny too.
