I'm excited! This ain't nothing. This is a huge undertaking. I'm impressed, and I hope this is very successful for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNdOsL4Xe7Q -
I guess we really disagree on this one. I loved it. I'd take this over all the other similar films. Tarsem Singh, yet again, proved he's a force to be reckoned with. Visually stunning, if nothing else.

I'm in the same boat, and I'm seeing them next month. I should familiarize myself.

I know I already mentioned them, but I was listening to Wall of Silence today and I have a hard time believing this was a one and done band. I know they released an album under The Works, and I realize the scene was changing when "Shock to the System" dropped, but did none of the members have any projects since?

I dunno. Personally, it's one of the few that's prone to being skipped.

https://store.cooper...product/DBK904/ 1.7kg - that makes sense. I was all like, 17kg? WTF? Oh, yeah. I was really tired and frustrated, I'm surprised I even managed to post altogether. I think I'm gonna brew a Julebryg next. Something to keep me warm through the Winter.

It's ridiculously easy, and so bloody cheap. I don't think I'll ever go back to buying beer. Well, not to the degree I used to.

Damn, thing deleted itself. Here I go a second time. Here's the official HH homebrewer's thread. My goal with this thread is for any of us brewmasters to share recipes and results. I understand this could simply end up being another place for Geoff and I to rack up post counts, but my hope is that others will be encouraged and inspired to try new recipes, and that this may also welcome members into the craft. I understand how pretentious that may sound, considering I have only just begun my second batch. Anyway, let us get to it. Here's my first batch: Mo' Brau IPA 17kg Coopers IPA 1kg Coopers Brew Enhancer 2 My original S.G. was 1.040, and, with a final S.G. reading at 1.010, I ended up with an IPA at a pathetic 3.9% ABV. It's been exactly 4 weeks since bottling, and I've definitely noticed an improvement. I just started a new batch: Mo' Brau Real Ale 2 x 17kg Coopers Real Ale I went real basic with this one. I decided I need a control for all my future alterations. How will I know if something is truly better, if I don't know what it's like in its simplest form? However, I did use two cans. It yielded an original S.G. of 1.047, so I'm hoping this one will hit the 5% ABV. I might need another carboy, 'cause I'd like to get one more batch ready that would be appropriate for Christmas/Winter consumption.

Are you a birder? A bit. Bit of a stupid question, when I only had to look at your profile. Have you seen "The Big Year?" Great film. You'd enjoy it.

My #1 from him, but love all of them! It was... and then I saw Young Frankenstein!

I understand what you mean. It's hard to take an online community seriously, when that's all it ever is. Online. I appreciate everyone here, but I don't imagine my life would be affected much if I no longer could access this site. That said, I do still wish the best for everyone here. It's nice to hear of the good things that are happening in your lives, and I genuinely care when you guys face hardships.

Thanks mate. I went to the Snowy Mountains here in Oz for a school trip back in year 7 at high school... sadly that's actually the only time I've ever even seen snow. I hate the cold, but I would love to have a proper crack at snow boarding one day if the situation ever arises. Though I spend all my time trying to avoid the cold rather than seeking it out, so I won't bet on it. Thanks for the tips earlier - that D60 model might be a bit out of our price range but SLR is the route I'd like to go Might look in the January sales for a bargain. I'd suggest sticking with Canon. Would you consider buying used?
