  1. Best. Vocalist. Ever. Heh. I don't think you've ever told us before. ;}
  2. I guess it was my turn for pizza. And a few beers. My little homebrew operation is working out splendidly!
  3. I haven't seen this, but Bullit and Ronin both had great car chases. Is this film worth watching, apart from this scene?
  4. Your face will be mistaken for mashed potato once I'm through with it. Let me know if/when you decipher that and I'll make it a reality. See. Nonsense.
  5. yeah but if he is growling you wont hear the words let alone the accent ;-)) Nah, I wouldn't be surprised if there's barely a growl at all by the time a new CD comes out. BTW, I read on wikipedia yesterday that the bass player is the only original member in the band still there today. Crazy. Kind of explains the dramatic change in styles, though. The dude should just bring his family on the road with him so everyone else in the world is happy. Ha ha better call Tim, he must be getting interested ;-) I dunno. I don't think they sound bad enough for Tim to be interested just yet.
  6. Dunno, yet. I'll have to see what the ladies have made for me. ;}
  7. My mate tried to make me watch the trilogy right after I'd met who was soon to be my wife. We canoodled, slept, I think I died and had to be resuscitated .. and that was just during the first one. I honestly forget, but I think my mate turned it off after that. I can't remember half a second of it. Hate shit like that... People either love them or hate them and I love the movies. Then again I started reading the books many years ago so I was pumped up for the movies and they didn't dissapoint at all but to some they had to many slower parts to keep them awake and I get that but they happend almost just as the books did so I'm more than happy with them. The Hobbit came out this week and I look forward to that one too! first time I watched it I was like "what is this all about" but after watching a 2nd time I "got it" Don't get me wrong. I love the films, too. I was just really tired last night. Anyone see The Hobbit, yet? Apparently it's not very good.
  8. Well, I have a few other choice words, but I'd only use them if I met you in person. ;} Only over a beer. Of course. Avoid the Stella though, fellas. I don't touch the stuff. It's not dark enough.
  9. I just bought 2 Friday tickets to Firefest - now that is fucking interesting. Who else is going apart from Dan?? Dammit! I would love to, but I'm already booked for the MOR Cruise, and I might check out M3. You guys across the pond hear about the possibility of a MOR Cruise happening in Europe? That would be awesome!
  10. Well, I have a few other choice words, but I'd only use them if I met you in person. ;} Only over a beer. Of course.

  12. He left, 'cause he was spending too much time on the road away from his family.
  13. Haha, how come no one pointed out above I was talking about the wrong song? I was, of course, referring to 'Just like I planned.' No hook? Are you insane, man? The "I'm gonna take my time" chorus hook is one of the album's biggest hooks. The backing vocals throughout the whole song, particularly in the chorus, are just all really bad news, though. Like I said above, I would love to hear a fully instrumentalised version of this song on the new CD. He is right actually....the song is terrible and the album would be perfect w/o it. You guys are out your damn minds. That's one of my favourite tracks on the album. I've honestly skipped the entire album at times, just to get to that song. Also, Geoff, nobody knew what hell you were saying, 'cause nobody ever knows what the hell you're saying, 'cause you're always saying nonsense.
  14. You guys need to start doing a little search before you make a new thread.
  15. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring I only "watched" the first disc 'caused I passed out during their stay at Rivendale. Is that correct? The elf place.
  16. Drinks on me for anybody out that way what slaughters this bastard! Thank you.
  17. Yeah, I should've have sought them out when I was down there last year. I may have the address kicking around somewhere.
  18. Reckless Live look a little out of place sandwiched between those two. Did you actually listen to them in that order? That's like a double penetration: the best in the middle... I was skipping between them, so at various points Reckless Love was the meat in the sandwich. The Desecresy is awesome; fantastic Death Metal album. I'm not loving Reckless Love; very pop-sounding. Will give it a few more spins though. Creep, that Reckless album is friggin great Yep. As much as I respect James' taste and opinions, I sometimes wonder why he's on this site? I'm not suggesting you leave, James--please don't misinterpret me--but what exactly do you listen to that pertains to the AOR/Hard Rock genre that this forum is centered on?
