  1. What, what!?! I'm looking forward to this.
  2. Yeah, that's definitely quite a different version. How odd. I can't recall off the top of my head, but there ain't no solo in the EP version, is there? There's a ragin' solo in that one. And am I wrong, or are there different lyrics in there too? Either way, still an absolutely killer song. How the hell did I not notice they were different?
  3. Really, Dave? You posted the link. I think I might have your email kicking around. No, I guess I don't have it.

  5. Awesome. I was gonna shoot you a PM to see how you was, but I guess I don't have to, now.
  6. I got them from the Reverbnation site, but all the files seem to be taken down. Yeah I checked that and it was pretty blank.....if anyone can ping me the MP3s Id be a happy camper :-) I could send 'em to you via email.
  7. Yes Ive been to Turkey 3 times - Altinkum, Kusadasi and Bodrum. Ephesus and Pamukkale are an absolute must....but I dont think youre allowed on Pamukkale anymore? Think it might just be viewing only - still stunning though. Out was backpacking across Europe back in 2007, and there was too much conflict goings on in Turkey, so we decided to stay away. Dammit, I need to go travelling, again.

  9. The Magnificent - The Magnificent Probably spin Leverage - Blind Fire after coffee.
  10. And the return of the DB5. I can't wait to see it. It opens tonight, I believe.
  11. You, my friend, are an odd one. I blame it on you being from Ontario. I'd take Jon Oliva over Zak Stevens any day. ANY DAY. But I do agree with you; I really miss Savatage. Why don't these bastards reunite? Also, you wouldn't try to make room for "When the Crowds Are Gone?" Apart from Savatage, I really wish there was more from Wall of Silence.
  12. Why, thank you, sir. I always say, make sure you're well stocked with the essentials!! Great! That's one down. What about the others? Has anyone heard from any other affected?
  13. Amen. Just to give those people that think obama is all that and a bag of chips a heads up, I work in an independent medical office. Because of obamacare and him getting re-elected my doc has told us that he will not be able to afford working since all the govt money will got to the large hospitals, thus driving him out of business. How is that for those that think obama is for the working man? Myself and those I work with will soon be out of a job thanks to that P.O.S. Shit. I'm sorry to hear that. Like I said, I don't claim to know much about American politics, so I didn't know how bad it could be.
  14. An IQ test should be required for a LOT of things... like being allowed to drive a motor vehicle, to hold public office, and in some cases...to reproduce!! Some cases?
  15. Stand down, Wes. Stand the f**k down!! I kid. I don't know much about American politics, so you can't offend me. I'm a little worried for America in the next few years, regardless of who's in office. I don't know how you guys are gonna pull through.
  16. Happy with the first lot or.......... Yeah, how'd the first batch go? Dood, for best results, I'd recommend leaving them for a minimum of 6 weeks, ideally 8. I know it's hard with your first batch/es, but I now have 90 bottle (640ml) which means I can always have 3 batches on the go. I'm drinking beer that has been resting for over 2 months and I have 60 awaiting me that are all over 8 weeks old, or almost there. It's a paradise. Current batch is excellent too, if I do say so myself. Really nice Pale Ale, benefitting from extra wheats and hops I included. But yeah, that'd be my tip, to get enough bottles that you always have at least 2, preferably 3, batches on the go... just so they have that time to age perfectly. It does make a HUGE difference. First batch is decent, boys. I've definitely noticed a difference between two and three weeks. I'm not ecstatic about this batch, because I like my IPAs very hoppy, and this one isn't quite there. It will improve with time, no doubt, but I also think I should have used two cans instead of just the one. Have you heard of that, Geoff? Using two cans? My local shop owner said that's what he used to do, when he brewed Coopers. He used two cans, and left out the dextrose/brew enhancer. He now uses Brewhouse, which he claims is the equivalent of two Coopers can. Anyway, the reason I'm on to my next batch already, Ian, is because I'd like to have an assortment of beers on hand at any given time. My brother started with a Pale Ale, is currently fermenting a Dunkel, and wants to start an English Bitter soon. I'm interested in the Sparkling Ale from Coopers, but I'd probably have to order it from Australia, and that'd be bloody expensive shipping. I'd also like to try the Real Ale and the English Bitter, but those are stocked at my local grocer. What do you have going, Geoff? Are you strictly a Coopers guy, or have you tried others? Would it be worth starting a new thread dedicated to brewing?
  17. I agree 100%, My #1 of 2011. Still listen to this without the slightest sign of getting tired of it! And I hope this was not a one album band! Exactly. I want more!
  18. Saturday Monday - Headshake feat. Julia Spada
  19. Porcupine Tree - Deadwing Spock's Beard - Spock's Beard
  20. Does anyone outside of the US? Actually, US elections get more attention than our own. It's upsetting. Apparently only 61% of Canadians voted in our last federal election.
  21. Welcome to the asylum. You're standing in my corner. Move. Now. Don't take the pills.
