  6. that movie is clever on so many different levels... i mean the way its done, it must have a whole new meaning if you actually smoke pot.
  7. John Williams - Star Wars Episode III Soundtrack i'im getting into those big orchestral film scores lately.. and the Rocky IV soundtrack this morning.
  8. Same here....one of my top 3 musical films i think.....alongside Spinal Tap and Rock Star. used to rate Blues Brothers up there too....but i watched it recently and its good....but not a fave.
  9. well....granted. even tho he makes me twitch just to see him talk. sends shivers down the spine! atleast he suited his character in Jay and Silent Bob tho
  10. even tho it has two of the most annoying actors around in it?
  11. i dont know what it is tho, theres something about Poison and Faster Pussycat that seperates them from the wannabes which is probably the reason they made it and the others didnt. i just cant put my finger on it.....but CC was funny in the movie.
  12. But didja like it? What I find most ironic about the film (aside from the endless parade of no-names saying "I WILL succeed. Oh yes, I WILL."... wonder how many of them are wearing paper hats and saying "Would you like fries with that, sir?" nowadays, haha) is that the Megadeth guys seemed like the most together, sane and sober band in the entire film... and yet that lineup of the band disintegrated not long after the movie's release due to massive drug use!! i did like it, although Mustaine was his usual grumpy self loathing self. Paul Stanley and those guys showed the good side of rock n roll....its just a shame about bands like Seduce and Odin never really went anywhere...
  13. here is an album our friend Samboar needs to check out. almost a perfect album if you mean me, then i already have it on my comp....pretty good, but it got overshadowed by Blue Tears and Beautiful Creatures which i got at teh same time.
  14. i notice its all famous women... what about the people you actually know?
  15. only thing i got like that is this: http://www.80srockstars.net/music.html but its all mainstream stuff.
  16. well i love all of GnRs albums save Spaghetti... so GnR obv.
  17. just watched Decline II after the recomendation of Fat Freddy... its depressing how all those guys thought theyd make it and never did, and the guys who did make it like Chris Holmes hated being rockstars. then again, Alice Cooper, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons didnt seem to have any complaints.
  18. "if you cant do it right, dont do it at all" as long as they didnt mean for it to be serious then its alright.
  19. the fact that his batphone in the batmobile was made of thin plastic doesnt lendmuch creedance to the show..
  20. nay i enjoy to old show on occasion....but how can an overweight guy in grey tights be cool?
  21. damn, i forgot they made a film of that...alright, the first cool film. the Michael Keaton one.. Jessica Alba out of spandex, perhaps? thats in the movie too!
  22. TIM Go ahead Mate. You ain't that young sunshine Yeah yeah. I was only 6 at the time though. I went with NEW ENGLAND ("Dont Ever Wanna Lose Ya" is such a killer pomp tune)... thats no excuse, i was that age in 97 and i listen to music atleast ten years older! And how many of these have you heard SR?? well this music is like TIM listening to music from 61... i know a couple of the bands, cheap trick and Survivor...
  23. the music just irritates me for some reason.. there are few modern bands i like.
