The highly transmissible Candida auris fungus had been previously unknown to science (and resistant to the drugs available to treat it), but within a few years, cases started emerging in Venezuela, Iran, Russia, and South Africa. Scientists assumed that the spread was due to human travel, but when they sequenced the cases, they were surprised to find that these strains weren't closely related at all. Instead, scientists were seeing multiple, independent infections of an unknown fungal disease, emerging around the world, all at the same time. About a third of people infected with Candida auris die from the infection within 30 days, and there have now been thousands of cases in 47 countries. Some scientists think this sudden boom in global cases is a harbinger of things to come.

It's so hard to find unbiased info on anything these days...I just wish this virus wasn't being politicized...trust the science...once the science figures out wtf is going on which it hasn't yet....

They already watch us and track us everywhere through cell phones, credit cards, smart watches, Alexa type units , internet browsers, email, twitter etc... so why would they need to do more.....I doubt they can keep up with the flow of information that they have now let alone add to it....

It is rare that a band stays whole for very long so we should all be used to a certain amount of change....Whitesnake would not be the same without Coverdale's vocals but I always judge music by its merits not by who is playing or singing the music so I will reserve judgement....

I noticed that it is available on eBay for $120 CAD which isn't too bad for 7 cds worth of material but I'm not sure if I will like more than a couple of those releases so I'm holding off on the purchase for now....

There will be new variants every few months for the foreseeable future since we are unable to eradicate the virus and some of them will be worse than others...hopefully there won't be a variant that kills 10-20 percent of those who catch it or even worse a variant that kills the young and healthy....there's a good chance that our 'miracle' vaccines will meet a variant that they have no effectiveness against so keep your hazmat suit handy....

While I'm in the atheist camp I do not have a problem with most of the people who have faith in God....to each their own...as for Xmas , it is a holiday and should be about family and if religion is a necessary part of it for you, then so be it.....

Red Notice (2021) - ignore the professional critics of this film as they are clueless when it comes to good movies, always looking for some deep fucking meaning in everything....sit back and laugh and enjoy this flick...I loved it!

Agreed...while he had a case for self defense I can't agree with the idea that he and literally everyone in the US has the right to run around the streets with a gun.....and if they ever feel threatened in any way or simply don't like the look of someone they can blast away and claim they felt threatened.....this case is probably going to be used to set a precedent which means there will be many more of these incidents...
