This trial highlights one of the problems with the media today...they had her hung before she went to trial, because of all the bad publicity she received you can't find anyone online or offline who doesn't believe she's guilty....does this verdict mean she's really innocent, damned if I know, all i know for sure is that the jury who were there for the entire trial and heard all the evidence didn't believe she was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and personally that's the way I want the system to work because if we lower the standards a lot of innocent people will be convicted....the downside is that occasionally a few guilty people go free....the only way I would call her guilty today is if I sat thru the entire trial and heard all the evidence for myself...

Big Bad Wolf.....another 'bad' slasher movie that is so bad I was laughing through at least part of it, although the wolf is definitely played for laughs so its intentional....I think Swordfish.......decent action movie where you get to see Halle Berry topless ...

Eragon.....not sure about this one, overall not bad but they crammed too much into too little time IMO...

I don't believe any of the written or televised shit that has been dumped on us...she's either guilty or not guilty depending on the biased moron writing the story....I think I'll wait for the jury to decide....

The Last Legion........enjoyed this one although its nothing new but it's a good action movie if you like historical settings... Astronaut Farmer.....really liked this one as well....one of those feel good movies that is well acted and written, along the lines of Field of Dreams...

Dead and Deader.....really bad stuff here, maybe FF would like it Plane Dead.....another zombie movie that wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but then I wasn't expecting much...

What CDs have I bought over the last several weeks .....30+....how many have I received because of this stupid fucking postal strike....sweet fuckall....

The last release that I liked by these guys was Clayman but my tastes have changed considerably in the intervening years so your take on this new release has me intrigued...I may have to check it out... Yeah they properly started down the modern metal route (and away from their previous melodic death metal sound)with stuff like "Come Clarity" and the vocals were all-over-the-place with screaming one minute and clean-vocs the next. "A Sense of Purpose" was a bit patchy too, but - if you forget this is IN FLAMES with their history - and just focus on the music then you should enjoy. "Deliver Us" is KILLER. I remember being disappointed when they first started moving in a more modern/commercial direction. However I don't listen to death metal anymore and I think I would have to be wasted to listen to Clayman today. But I do still enjoy heavy metal so I'll have to check some samples at least of this new one...

True Grit (2010)......decent remake but nothing compared to the original....really don't understand all the hoopla over this one. The Rooster Cogburn character is a great character to build a movie around and IMO it's too bad they couldn't write an original script for him as Jeff Bridges did a good job in the roll. Instead I found myself comparing every scene to the original movie and found most of them wanting...

I thought about getting a tattoo a lot when I was younger but in the end I couldn't decide on what would work for me and I didn't take the plunge.....today I'm very glad I didn't get one...

A lot of love for Winger-Pull on here.....while I like it, the best rating I could give it would be 80%...In The Heart of The Young on the other hand would be closer to 90%.....

Being a huge Last Autumn's Dream fan I'd love to see their 2nd release get remastered....probably have to re-record it actually since the production is so bad I can't stand listening to it...

It's difficult to put myself in your shoes so this is my personal point of view. If my dad had been an abusive sob I'd have a hard time forgiving him. That said this is more about what's right for you not for him. If he is personally reaching out then I don't think I'd turn away as that would be something that I might question myself on for a long time. However if as you've said he doesn't know anything about this then I'd say wait until he makes the first move. Of course keep in mind this opinion comes from someone who is in no way close to his own family...

I've been waiting since 72 for them to win another cup....and this was a year in which I wasn't expecting them to go very far....but damned if they didn't do it...
