  1. OH Yea I Had the same big stupid fanboy grin on My face the entire time too Man.... I mean, ever since I saw Jason Goes to Hell I was looking forward to a movie with Jason AND Freddy!!
  2. I Swear I am not making this up.. With music by Bono and the Edge of U2 fame, it hits Broadway this Fall.... http://spidermanonbroadway.marvel.com/ I honestly don't know how I feel about this... I mean it COULD be halfway decent.. Right???? Well apparently this HAS been done before.. Sort of.... Did a lil searching and found this.... http://www.amazon.com/Spider-Man-Reflections-Superhero-Various-Artists/dp/B00063MBBC/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1285875264&sr=1-7 Is it bad I am kind of mordibly curious to plop down 5 bucks and buy this????
  3. Oh GOOD LORD!! Why re-release the movies AGAIN in 3-D??? Why not, just finish up the series by FINALLY releasing Episodes VII VIII and IX???? Sorry as someone who, because of eye problems, simply can't SEE 3-D?? I don't get all excited about it.... Oh and I saw the Special Editions too?? And, with the exception of a couple scenes, I prefer the Originals.... They completely fucked up the music in Jedi on the Special Edition.... I Just hope, when they are released on Blu-Ray?? They have the brains to release episodes IV V and VI with both the original AND Special editions in the same package....
  4. Wow and I would have thought the next on Your "Must have" List from Roger Corman would be Rock and Roll Highschool.. Unless you already have that on DVD???
  5. Yea it DOES sound pretty good~\~~ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJpLK1leEaQ
  6. When I upgraded my old cassette copy of BLOW MY FUSE to CD some years back, I listened to the disc for the first time and thought "Wow, so it really did sound that bad all along." For a very long time I had assumed my cassette copy had gotten worn out from repeated plays but nope, the production simply sucks, it sounds very muffled and hollow. Like the band were playing at the bottom of a well, and the recording equipment was at the top. I had the same experience when I upgraded Twisted Sister's STAY HUNGRY and Metallica's AND JUSTICE FOR ALL to CD ... great albums, horrible production/sound quality!!!! Did you pick up the 25th anniversary edition of Stay Hungry?? Or the re-recorded Still Hungry?? GREAT sound quality on those.. And I didn't think Justice was really bad sound quality Myself, but then I haven't played that album in quite some time either.....
  7. Wow Ok I went with Electric Bananas.. Just too silly to be a real band.... I have actually heard a couple of those bands though and Rhino Bucket is pretty damn GOOD!!! I also did hear that band Big Cock?? Not too bad, but nothing special....
  8. I probably agree with you. Demolition, Rock A Rolla, Turbo and Point of Entry are at the bottom of the Preist pile I'd say and Nostadamus would be somewhere in that mix. Ok yea Demolition pretty muich blows goats.. But Point of Entry?? DAMN good album there... Desert Plains.. Heading Out to the Highway and etc.....
  9. Wow.. TOUGH choice Here, but I finaly went with Metallica's Master of Puppets.... But Slayer, Crimson Glory and Anthrax ALL Came in a close second.....
  10. Well I DID get ALOT of other new music since then, but I think I played it last month sometime???
  11. Yea the Video IS kinda stupid, but that song just SMOKES!! And yea, gonna be better than Nostradamus too, though I DID like that album....
  12. Check it out!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qS4jMGUP8Xs&feature=player_embedded Sounds GOOD to Me!!!!

  15. Saw this on blabbermouth.... HELLOWEEN: Audio Samples Of Entire '7 Sinners' Album Available - Sep. 13, 2010 German power metal veterans HELLOWEEN will release their 13th studio album, "7 Sinners", in North America on November 9 via The End Records. Audio samples of all 13 tracks that are set to appear on the CD can be found on the web site of CeDe, which is said to be the most complete and up-to-date multimedia shop in Switzerland. If there is a golden thread throughout the more than 25 years of HELLOWEEN's history, 13 studio albums, countless headliner tours around the globe and more than 5 million records sold, then it is their special kind of attitude: don't take yourself too seriously and simply live statements like "just have fun with the shit you're doing." Maybe it is exactly this easiness that allows HELLOWEEN to be one of the most constant bands of the genre while simultaneously being the one band who dares to experiment more than their musical peers. While some copycats would rather stick with the same old patterns, Andi Deris, Michael Weikath, Sascha Gerstner, Markus Großkopf and Dani Löble aren't afraid of taking risks — and are rightfully rewarded with success. "7 Sinners" is definitively one of the fastest and hardest albums in the HELLOWEEN's history and it bursts with vitality. That might partly be due to the versatility of the various songwriters within the band, who over time have become so homogenous, that the 13 songs formed a unity on their own in the studio , but it may also be due to the fact that the album was recorded completely without a click track, which, considering the extreme speed of the songs is an impressive feat. Especially drummer Löble, who proves that his technique is at a world-class-level. Following his excellent inner clock, bass and drums drive tracks like "Are You Metal?", "Long Live The King" and "Who Is Mr. Madman?" to dizzying tempos. "7 Sinners", with its typically strong melodies and the tangible joy of playing, is a true metal album whose range reaches astonishing dimensions. It has become a cliche for metal band's to tout their newest opus as their "fastest" or "heaviest" album ever made, but in HELLOWEEN's case, "7 Sinners" is truly a return to form and is indeed their fastest and heaviest release in years. HELLOWEEN bass player Markus Grosskopf stated about the band's new material: "For all those out there who found our special best-of [CD] 'Unarmed' to be too smooth and calm, I have great news: The new album will hit you right in the face! It's gonna be very heavy and contain all [the classic] HELLOWEEN trademarks! Some songs are very powerful and hymnic, others contain the fastest bass-drum patterns our drummer Dani ever played, and this means a lot!" "7 Sinners" track listing: 01. Where The Sinners Go 02. Are You Metal? 03. Who is Mr. Madman? 04. Raise The Noise 05. World Of Fantasy 06. Long Live The King 07. The Smile Of The Sun 08. You Stupid Mankind 09. If A Mountain Could Talk 10. The Sage, The Fool, The Sinner 11. My Sacrifice 12. Not Yet Today 13. Far In The Future CHeck out the sound samples here... http://www.cede.ch/de/music-cd/frames/right.cfm?aobj=858288&mp_type=popup And the cover art.... Sounds pretty damn GOOD to Me!!!
  16. Nope, Haven't seen em live, but DAMNIT I WANT TO!!!!
  17. Wow.. If Keith says it's bad?? It must be BAAD!!!!!!
  18. Over the past few days I have watched Iron Man, Star Trek, and GI Joe.. ALL good flicks!!!
  19. I vaguely remember a Nun's habit in there somewhere too. That band did more costume changes in one show than Madonna does in a whole tour. Remember Tommy's speech about "selling out" (since they were then signed to Elektra)? "F*CK YEAH, we sold out! Look at this, we got a SMOKE MACHINE! TURN ON THE SMOKE MACHINE! Now I ask you, could we afford a fine smoke machine like this if we didn't sell out?" Yea Tommy was one funny MotherF*cker alright..... Wow, just dug this gem up from Youtube..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEnZFod4Ino&feature=related
  20. If they EVER play near Portland OR I would LOVE to go see em......
