Wow.. I bought this on cassette WAY back when.. Haven't heard it in YEARS though.. As I recall it was pretty decent stuff....

I know I am in the minority here,but I LIKE Ryan Reynolds! Now is He the BEST choice for the part?? Probably not.. Chris Pine would be a better choice, but I think Ryan will do it justice....

Yea I saw it in the theaters too and LOVED it!!! Terri Hatcher was indeed HOT too!!! Now if they make a sequel?? You best believe I WILL See that in the theaters too!!!!

Back to School... Pretty funny 80s comedy with Rodney Dangerfield... Saw it first at home and then at my orientation for College in 1988.. I believe Keith did too.....

I liked the FInale Myself... That free for all in the ring of fire was BADASS!!! I was surpzied Gannicus got His freedom, cause I had assumed Crixus would kill Him to become Champion.... I HOPE He turns up in Season 2, and seeks out Crixus as now they are both Free..... Can't wait for Season 2 next year!!!

ICED EARTH Frontman Announces "Retirement' From Band - Mar. 2, 2011 Longtime ICED EARTH vocalist Matt Barlow has announced his retirement from the band. In his heartfelt statement, Barlow cites his commitment to his family and the need for ICED EARTH to tour more as the reasons for his retirement; however, he has committed to perform with ICED EARTH on all 2011 European festival dates, which will be his last with the band. Matt Barlow's official statement is as follows: "Brothers and sisters, "Let me begin by saying how much of an honor it has been to share my time in ICED EARTH with Jon and the guys…and with all of you! Since my return to the band in 2007, it has truly been extraordinary. I have had the opportunity to travel the world and see old friends and meet new ones. Though we had originally thought that the ICED EARTH touring schedule would be very limited, we were able to play our fair share of concerts. "During that time we were also able to have a live DVD produced [the forthcoming 'Festivals Of The Wicked']. However, due to the rapidly changing music industry, it has become increasingly clear to recording artists that the only way to keep a band viable and to truly reach its potential is through live performances. That means that a band must reach out to new regions of the globe and become pioneers for their own livelihood. Since 2007, Jon and I have always had the best intentions for the future of ICED EARTH, and we still do. However, given the band's projected touring schedule, ICED EARTH's future and mine must now take separate paths. "On my departure from ICED EARTH in 2003, I made a commitment to my wife and to the idea that we would start, and raise, our family together. Two years later, my first child was born and two years after that, my second. My youngest son was born about a week before Jon asked me to return to ICED EARTH. It was a very exciting and emotional time for all of us, but we were all clear on our intentions. It is apparent to us now that regardless of our belief at that time, time can change an intended outcome. In this instance, I hope that change will not be regarded as a bad thing, but rather as a necessary part of evolution. "Jon and the band must venture into new realms to continue to grow ICED EARTH. I commend him for his ideals and wish nothing but to share in his vision. I know that this is not the last time Jon and I will work together, but it will be my last endeavor with ICED EARTH. ICED EARTH is a name and force of its own. It has been very good to me and has allowed me to live a dream that others would give most anything for. I have been truly blessed to share this experience with everyone. I will continue to support Jon and ICED EARTH in every way. I will also continue to create and perform in my own capacity. His departure deeply saddens me, but I hope all fans of ICED EARTH will cut him some slack. I wish Matt well, respect him greatly, and I ask everyone else to do the same." With a new album in the works, and a world tour pending, Schaffer has already begun the search for a new vocalist. "I have a few guys in mind," said Schaffer. "And as you can imagine, it is a very important decision. I gotta go with Def Leppard here.. High and Dry is probably their best album!! Well second best as Pyromania I like JUST that much more.... Ratt came in a close second..... Oh as did Dokken, cause Tooth and Nail is almost My favorite Dokken album!!

I watched this last night too!! DAMN Good flick!! Mindless gory fun!!! And plenty of half naked chicks too!! Hell a couple FULLY naked chicks too!!! Is it just Me?? Or have College Kids gotten dumber over the years?? A Cop says Get OUT of the water.. you GET OUT OF THE WATER!!! You don't jump INTO the water and get turned into chum by nasty prehistoric piranhas!! Dumbasses!!! And poor Richard Dreyfuss.. Killed before the opening credits..... But I think My favorite scene?? This guys schlong after being ripped off, just floating down in the water, until a couple of the piranha chow down on it.. And then one just burps it out!! Nasty!! I also watched the Karate Kid from 2010?? I had almost NO expectations going in as I normally don't like Hollywood fucking with a classiuc 80s movie.... BUT I gotta say it was actually quite good... Though it should have been called the Kung Fu Kid, cause He didn't learn Karate, He learned Kung Fu... The storyline pretty much mirrors the original movie too.. Hell some of the dialogue was almost word for word the same stuff!! But, aside from that I found Myself enjoying the movie.. The scenery in China was just Beautiful!! And I like watching Kung Fu more than Karate, because to Me it's more of a Martial Art... Emphasis on Art....

ICED EARTH Mainman JON SCHAFFER Interviewed By METAL INJECTION (Video) - Feb. 17, 2011 Metal Injection correspondent Noa conducted an interview with ICED EARTH mainman Jon Schaffer during the 70000 Tons Of Metal cruise — which set sail from Miami, Florida to Cozumel, Mexico on January 24 and returned four days later. You can now watch the chat below. ICED EARTH is hard at work on its tenth studio album, due later this year via Century Media Records. Unlike 2008's "The Crucible Of Man" and 2007's "Framing Armageddon", the new CD won't be a conceptual effort. Instead, band leader Jon Schaffer promises a return to the raw-and-heavy sound of ICED EARTH's classic fan-favorite albums. "I can tell you from the riffs and the attitude behind it," he said, "this is going to be a bad-ass record. This is inspired, focused, and to the point. This is really heavy stuff. It's a kick in the nuts." He added: "People probably think I don't have it in me any more. But they're going to be proved wrong about that. I can tell you this: we're coming back with a vengeance. We're out for blood." This promises to be a grand year for Schaffer and company. Not only will ICED EARTH release a new album (followed by a world tour — which management promises will take the band to countries it hasn't previously played), but the band will also release its long-awaited six-hour, three-concert live DVD, "Festivals Of The Wicked", this spring. In addition, the band will make appearancess at five European festival dates this summer, including at Ilosaarirock on July 16 in Joensuu, Finland and the Sweden Rock Festival on June 10 in Sölvesborg, Sweden. ICED EARTH's most recent full-length studio album, "The Crucible of Man (Something Wicked Part II)", sold 6,700 copies in the United States in its first week of release.
