How is that album Chad? As good as Geoff says. I actually love "Sweet Trade" so would I be dissapointed with the new one? No you wont be disappointed. The album is awesome. One of the few seriously good MHR albums this year. The first song is pretty shit, but virtually every song after that is excellent - and there are a lot of them.

OK, some more throughts no this one. You know why I love this so much.....sounds like Disciple. Music and vocals. For example how close is 'Dirty Girl' to 'Falling Star'. Musically and vocally spot on and both are killer tunes

Thank You. I hear no Poison or Slaughter on that tune either. Plus it cracks me up how the thought a song sounding anything remotely close to Poison brings out the Poison haters. I'm always here mate Can you change the word 'Hater' to 'Despiser' please. I know how you feel about Poison. Yeah but dont label me as a Poison hater thanks. And that song does sound like Poison.....so there This thread has become stupid anyway....we should stop discussing the WORST song on the album and discuss the best ones. How awesome is 'Hate To Love You'....if you want Jovi - that's it. I tell you what though BJ would kill to write a song that good for his new album. Truth. Also killer is 'Caught In The Middle' - definitely in my top 10 songs of 2009. Pisses on almost any other song this IMO. I also love 'Livin Out Loud' and the best thing about this album is that it ends really well....all the last 3 songs are really good.

This is still No 1 for me in the modern stakes. I absolutely adore all the tracks, but have to admit that track 10 has a disappointing lack of hook. Still an interesting song in its own right. This album has it all tho.....great tracks, brilliant harmonies and killer lead singer. The production is second to none. Love it.

Dont tell Geoff that he might start gloating ;-) but yeah its defo a top tenner......but remember there have been some killer songs this year.

Backed I was listening to this yesterday and it is a killer disc. For sure the songs on the first half are the best but I also really like the second half of the album too which has some variation of sound etc. Anything which veers between Hinder and Skillet is fine in my book. Did I mention also that the guy has a killer voice. I need to listen to the NLL a few more times before deciding on that one. The ones which end up on top always have to have staying power for me. But you are right in that modern rock seems to be throwing out all sorts of great albums whilst MHR is just so so (apart from a few killers). Wait for July to add Daughtry, New Device and Adelitas Way to the already killer list :-))

I tell you what guys....I was listening to this earlier and in particular the song 'So Long'...thinking hey I actually really like this one (was one that I had skipped on the first listen)...it was something about the chorus which struck a note, you know like i'd heard it before...really recently. & then it dawned on me............................................ Safety Suit - Someone like you !!!!!!!! Listen to them back to back and it is uncanny. Quite a rip off I must admit. The chorus sounds very very similar.
