  1. Lol, it’s okay; I make up for it by not liking Eclipse or Vega either! 🤪
  2. Alcyona - Trailblazer Kalidia - Frozen Throne Follow the Cipher - S/T 7th Heaven - Color In Motion Hearts on Fire - Call of Destiny That's all I got....
  3. Thankfully, with so many platforms available to hear either samples (HH, Amazon, NEH, etc...) or full songs (Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, etc...) the days of purchasing a 100%, complete and utter turd of an album should be behind us; just no excuse to do so anymore. With that said, some albums that I found to be disappointing in 2018: Age Sten Nilsen's Ammunition - Ammunition: Most of the songs just weren't very memorable Dare Force - Callin' Your Name: ditto Dream Child - Until Death Do We Meet Again: I've enjoyed the other Dio inspired projects (Last In Line and Resurrection Kings) but again, the songs just aren't very memorable on this one Gioeli-Castronovo - Set The World on Fire: "Through" is absolutely superb... the rest of the album, not so much, especially that horrendous cover of "Need You Now" Jaded Heart - Devil's Gift: well played, just not much sticks with you Kenny Leckremo's Spectra - Spectra: Really enjoy the title track, and the rest is pretty "meh" Ted Poley - Modern Art: Don't care for Degreed, but figured my love of most things Poley could overcome that.. nope. Another thoroughly "meh" disc Red Dragon Cartel - Patina: Great guitar playing doesn't necessarily translate into great, memorable songs Rox Diamond - Let The Music Do The Talkin': another where overall, the songs just aren't very memorable, and as mentioned, the production does it no favors Shinedown - Attention Attention: LOVED The Sound of Madness and Amaryllis, but this is nothing but shouty, rap inspired noise for the most part *4 of Geoff's disappointments are in my honorable mentions for 2018!
  4. Hmm, I fully expected this to suck, but it's not bad; they do the song justice.
  5. I thoroughly enjoy it! It features in my Best of 2018 list... sort of...
  6. State of Salazar was absolutely still in play when I posted my guesses. Look at my first post; two of them were right. 5. Care of Night4. State of Salazar 3. W.E.T2. Palace1. Creye Through the various guesses and Dan's responses, CON had been confirmed in the top 5, and WET and Creye have been eliminated I believe. That means that either State of Slazar or Palace were correct from my list; I simply chose the wrong one to include in my new guesses (based on Dan's reply to Darkstone this morning). It looks like 1. 2. Kissin' Dynamite 3. Care of Night 4. 5. Palace are confirmed unless I'm just utterly fucking confused!
  7. Alright, I'll have another crack at this... 1. Dallas 2. Kissin' Dynamite 3. Care of Night 4. Ten 5. State of Salazar
  8. What the heck, I'll give it a shot! The previous guesses make me think I should have at least 3 of these right. 5. Care of Night 4. State of Salazar 3. W.E.T 2. Palace 1. Creye
  9. Merry Christmas fellow HHers! Hope everyone has a safe and merry holiday!
  10. Okay, so about a month ago, I ordered Billy Squier - Tale of the Tape from Deep Discount's eBay store. A week or so later, I receive The Babys - On The Edge from them instead. I decided just to keep The Babys, and went on about life. Well, last week, I ordered Billy Squier - Tale of the Tape AGAIN, this time from Amazon. Today, I received instead of Billy Squier, John Cougar - The Kid Inside. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm meant to ever own that damn Billy Squier CD. ? Same CD ordered twice, two different companies, wrong CD sent both times. Damn the luck!
  11. Just wanted to take a moment to point out that over on the main site the 19,000th CD was added to the HH database last night. It's been a little less than 10 months since we hit 18K, so that's a pretty good pace! I'd like to give a big shout out to regular submission contributors Stefan and CC, as well as a thank you to any and everyone who submits CDs to the database. It helps keep the site growing, current, informative, and definitely THE Number 1 Hard Rock and AOR Reference Site on the interwebs! Soooo, who was 19K you ask? None other than Joe Lynn Turner and Sunstorm... https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=4051&CDName=The+Road+to+Hell&Letter=A Very approrpiate considering JLT has been rocking for over 40 years! *Number 18,999 was the new TNT if anyone's interested... ? Again, thanks everyone!
  12. Really enjoyed the first and third movies (just couldn't get into the second one for some reason), so I'm game for a 4th installment and tv series. Bless the New Founding Fathers!
  13. Italia Ricci (from TV's Designated Survivor)
  14. Ditto... excellent song from my favorite CD of 2017!
  15. Former gymnast now pro golfer Paige Spiranac
  16. One of the most gorgeous ladies ever (in my opinion of course) and legs for days! Elizabeth Montgomery
