  1. Video quality isn't the greatest, but you get the idea what these not very well known UK rockers were all about....
  2. Had no idea there was a video for this song!
  3. Info taken from Sleaze Roxx at: https://sleazeroxx.com/reviews/sven-gali-3/ Unfortunately, this is much more akin to Inwire than their excellent debut. https://www.svengali.ca/ https://www.facebook.com/svengalicanada/ 01. Kill The Lies 02. You Won’t Break Me 03. Now 04. Hurt Dave Wanless – vocals Andy Frank – guitar Shawn Minden – bass Sean Williamson – guitar Dan Fila – drums
  4. LMAO! You certainly don't want the Mafia on your ass! Universal Language had a few decent tracks on it, but I haven't felt compelled to purchase anything else he's done recently, be it his solo stuff or with Sainted Sinners.
  5. Ozzy has always had a unique voice, a certain cadence in his delivery that you immediately recognize as him. A lot of people like his vocal style, others, not so much. I've always enjoyed his "poppier"solo work, which I think suits his voice better, over his work with Sabbath. To reiiterate my initial post, "Ordinary Man" is an amazing fucking song!
  6. I was unprepared for fame Then everybody knew my name No more lonely nights, it's all for you I have traveled many miles I've seen tears and I've seen smiles Just remember that it's all for you Don't forget me as the colors fade When the lights go down, it's just an empty stage Okay Yes, I've been a bad guy Been higher than the blue sky And the truth is I don't wanna die an ordinary man I've made momma cry Don't know why I'm still alive Yes, the truth is I don't wanna die an ordinary man Many times I've lost control They tried to kill my rock and roll Just remember I'm still here for you I don't wanna say goodbye When I do, you'll be alright After all, I did it all for you Don't forget me as the colors fade When the lights go down, it's just an empty stage Okay… -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fucking amazing song! Love how he is looking back and reflecting upong his life. Ozzy: vocalsElton John: vocals & pianoSlash: guitarDuff McKagan: bassChad Smith: drums
  7. In my posting bravado, I got a bit excited, and left out that I think the b&w pic may be of a PRE Kik Tracee band, It sure looks like Johnny Douglas and Rob Grad are in both pics to me, but hey, WTF do I know?
  8. Geoff Tate's version of Queensryche: https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=1921&CDName=Frequency+Unknown and the Todd LaTorre led version: https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=1921&CDName=Queensryche+(2013) Both released in 2013 using the Queensryche name.
  9. Dan, One other HH member who has passed is Kelly Schacher aka frogstomp Mike
  10. Tim was one of the first folks at HH I did any trading of physical CDs with, and early on, when I was first getting into seeking out and/or hearing those elusive rarities, he was someone who didn't mind sharing a few MP3s so I could decide if I wanted to pursue a disc or not. His comments from back around 2002-2003 are all over the main site; he was very knowledgeable about all the mainstream bands, as well as the indie bands that few had ever heard of at that time. Just an all round nice guy; such a shame that after overcoming so many things in his life, this damn virus is what takes him from this world. R.I.P. Tim Fly to the Angels
  11. Waiting For Monday was the most recent band he helped get signed to Frontiers (haven't read anything about him managing them though); their CD is solid, but has kind of gotten lost amongst all the more well known bands releasing music so far this year. You can hear samples on the main site: https://heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=8984&CDName=Waiting For Monday
  12. Almost impossible to single out just one, soooo... Fargo Wall Street Dumb & Dumber Iron Man Groundhog Day Halloween (original) The Purge
  13. The chorus ain't bad, but the verses are so terrible, it's painful to get there...
  14. For anyone interested, The Lethal Idols are on the verge of finally releasing their debut album, "Sounds Illegal" https://thelethalidols.com/homepage

  16. Yes, not a huge difference between the two, I just like Thirteen (my album of the year in 2014) a bit better than United (my number 5 for 2017). Both are GREAT releases though.
  17. This one was waiting on me when I got home... just got done spinning it for the first time, and I gotta say I quite like it. Probably on par with United, but not as good as Thirteen; we'll see if my opinion changes after repeat spins. As of right now though, a big thumbs up!
