  1. I was able to find a free streaming site and watch the game (once I made it through all the malware popups... bastards). The big surprise was how decent Barkley looked at times. Granted, against 2nd and 3rd stringers. Tebow actually looked improved from the last time he was in the league. Of the three QBs, actually Sanchez looked the worst. Nelson Agholor will be a stud. Defense is actually looking good, both aginst the pass and the run. The Eagles pretty much manhandled the Colts on all fronts.
  2. Aaaannnnnnnd.... the game is blacked out. Here in downstate IL, technically I live within the fringe of the Indianapolis market but don't get any of the Indianapolis TV stations, and Illinois by and large is a Bears market not Colts. Fuckers.
  3. Well, the Eagles (pre) season starts in about 10 minutes. The QB situation is a huge unknown. Bradford, Sanchez, Tebow, Barkley. Ugh. In other words, we don't HAVE a quarterback...
  4. Call me very pleasantly surprised. Musically that is vintage W.A.S.P. I'm not enthused about the production/mix, but that's a good song.
  5. Ummmm.... no. Sorry. Less than zero interest. The last thing I intend to do with even one red cent of mine is to put it towards a movie glorifying rap/hip-hop/whatever.
  6. Giving this one a re-listen today. It won't win any awards, but it's a good solid album overall with some decent moments, e.g., "Set Me Free", "I Don't Wanna Cry". Mix bugs me a bit though. Sounds thin in places it shouldn't.
  7. I have heard absolutely NOTHING from this album that makes me think it is worth getting. If not for JBJ's recognizable voice, there's nothing about it that even resembles what we think of as "Bon Jovi". Bleagh.
  8. I guess it depends on on what you mean by "worth it"? It has never been a source of revenue (just expense actually). It's always been there as a nicety. Granted, I should probably give it more prominence on the main site. Many people likely are not aware of it.
  9. Not many. They don't tell you how many listeners, but rather measure it in number of hours listened, which actually is probably more useful. 163 hours in the last 30 days.
  10. I've updated the radio feed, removing the 2014 releases and adding several 2015 releases. The playlist is just shy of 8.5 hours of music. http://www.heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/radio.cgi Artists represented: A Life Divided Beauvoir/Free Black Star Riders China Sky Cold Shot Dimino Eclipse Eden's Curse FM Falling In Reverse Impellitteri Impera Issa Jorn Lande & Trond Holter present DRACULA Kelly Keeling Kiske-Somerville Leah Level 10 Lioncage Mark Slaughter Messiah's Kiss Moxy Papa Roach Peterik / Scherer Red Reds'Cool Revolution Saints Rob Moratti Rock 'n' Roll Rebels & the Sunset Strip Room Experience Royal Hunt Serious Black Skip Rock Stala & So Sweet & Lynch Talon The Dreaming The Murder of My Sweet The V Triosphere
  11. It's different. Needs some replays to determine whether I like or am just ambivalent. Don't hate it though.
  12. Spiffy. I like Too Many Gods better, but this isn't bad at all.
  13. I don't know about album of the year, but I like the song.
  14. I wonder what David T. Chastain thinks of them taking that band name...
  15. Not a fan musically, as the vocals are quite shrill, but damn she's hot.
  16. Actually, I don't hate it.
  17. Not shabby. Agree with The Geoff that the third song is the best. The most "AORish" of the three.
  18. Umm..... no. Bad vocals + lyrics by Google Translate = Awful.
  19. Great song, and even better video. Love the Chris Farley wannabe. This album is actually much better than I was expecting. Now if only Hammer & Tongs wasn't on the album...
  20. Not too shabby at all. Nothing innovative, but decent sound.
  21. After living with this one for a while, I'm going to go against the prevailing sentiment here: I like this a lot. Sure, Peterik is a fashion twatwaffle and the lyrics are trite, but damn, Scherer can sing. Aurally, this hits all of the sweet spots. P.S. I think that Scherer would be a perfect vocal replacement for Dennis DeYoung in Styx... very similar characteristics.
  22. Holy crap! LOVE that sample! It's like a modern more-AOR version of Electric Light Orchestra.
  23. Damn, these guys sound good live. Just got done listening to the CDs. Shame the video release is just a DVD and not a Blu-Ray. Dead crowd though. P.S. What are a bunch of insurance salesmen and office managers doing on stage performing metal?
  24. The debut was an excellent album and made my honorable mention list. German rockers 21OCTAYNE (feat.members of The Joe Perry Project and Rhapsody) will release their highly-anticipated sophomore album on September 25th (EU) / October 2nd (US). Following the successful debut "Into The Open" from 2014, the band has crafted 10 diverse, powerful rock songs for the new record (3 additional tracks are featured on the ltd. Digipak). Tracklist: 01. Devil In Disguise 02. Take Me Back 03. When You Go 04. Love's Just A Heartbreak Away 05. Take Me Away 06. Lost 07. The Circle 08. Date With Myself 09. Fly Away 10. Tale Of A Broken Child
