  1. The second track is more along the lines of what I was expecting. Will buy this one.
  2. Once the dude starts wailing it's not bad at all, but I don't like his voice on the verses.
  3. Gritty but solid. Good indie stuff.
  4. Michael is busy this year... it will be insteresting to hear what some of the other guest cuts on the album sound like.
  5. I like it musically, but not the production. Is this a demo version? Is it being self-released or on a label?

  8. Sounds great. Instrumentally power/prog, but vocally more melodic rock.
  9. The problem with snippets without vocals is that the vocals are the key element, and in all candor time has not been kind to Mark's voice or range. The dreaded "Steve Walsh Effect"...
  10. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 23, 2014 Kevin Young... Vocals Joey West... Drums Josiah Prince... Guitar Jason Wilkes... Bass, Vocals Andrew Stanton... Guitar DISCIPLE LAUNCHES ITS ATTACK TODAY WORLDWIDE 5-Star Acclaimed Album Loudly Proclaims Hope In Jesus Headline Club Tour With Project 86, A Life Set Apart Begins Oct. 2, Followed By No. 1 Pollstar-Ranked Winter Jam Arena Tour Rock band Disciple releases independently worldwide today its first new album in nearly two years, Attack, through The Fuel Music. Receiving wide critical acclaim, the crowd-funded and 10th studio album is also the first recording featuring front man, founding member and band leader Kevin Young with four new Disciple members, but established musicians in their own right: Josiah Prince from Philmont and Andrew Stanton from I Am Empire on guitars, Jason Wilkes from High Flight Society on bass and vocals, and Joey West from After Edmund on drums. While each of the band members except for Young are new, Disciple brought back into the mix Travis Wyrick (P.O.D., Pillar, TobyMac), who produced the first seven Disciple records. A year in the making, and with the added freedom of now being independent for the first time since 2003, Disciples Young says, I know what weve been called to do, and thats to do our best to show Christ to people with our music, and with how we interact with them, both on and off the stage. I thought about this new album for a year before we started in the studio, and I knew that the lyrics would be the boldest Disciple has ever put on a record. I wanted to talk about Jesus loudly and without shame. The resulting album is hitting high marks with critics: This album is one of the strongest of Disciple's career, promising to be an instant favorite with the fans who made it possible. Attack is built of ferocious guitar riffs, swelling melodies, searing vocals and a provoking and compelling declaration of the gospel that instantly sweeps the listener into spiritual awareness. Despite the lineup revolution, this album has Disciple's identity stamped on it more firmly than perhaps ever before, lending the album momentum born of confidence and dedication to its message. NewReleaseTuesday.com Lyrics that are as powerful as the guitar licks are found on every songyou get an authentic Disciple experience that is almost like going back in time to when you first heard them and fell in love... Attack is authentic all the way. About.com As a Christian Hard Rock/Metal album, Attack has it all walls of bass and drums act as a backbone to the massive guitar driven anthems that should move any listener to throw up their fists to the heavens and sing along. The album features amazing vocals, catchy sing-along choruses, and lyrics that challenge, edify, and encourage believers to step up in their relationship with Jesusthis is by far their best album to date. Christian Review (5 Stars) Attack is a strong representation of not only thrashing rock and killer talent, but truly a way of life...Attack is the closest thing to elemental genre substance that Ive come across in this arena for a while. And for that fact alone, its not only worth the listen, but a pleasure to absorb into the bones and heart. The Underground The heavy guitar intros are simply beautiful. The drums get your heart pumping. The bass guitar fires you upThe heavy music and talent will draw fans in, as they hear the beautiful message of Jesus loud and clear. Christian Music Review Attack is just a fun album to listen toDisciple is back and as good as ever. 365 Days of Inspiring Media Disciples new album offers a fast paced, hard rock driving tune called Crazy. The album, like the song, is Crazy Good! 11. Winning ugly again... but I'll take it. A rather non-confidence-inspring 3-0.
  12. Part of me likes it, and part of me despises it. There's a definite "boy band" vibe, but at the same time it's quite melodic.
  13. Oh come on now, he's not that ba.... fuck, who am I kidding, yes he is. Digging the musical intro and then all of a sudden HIM or 69 Eyes breaks out. It's a goth rock vocalist voice, not hard rock or power metal. VERY poor fit.
  14. I don't see it in the submission list. When was it submitted?
  15. Bastards. Try this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94e7WjLn0yo
  16. It's not horrible, but they don't know what they want to be, a sleaze glam band or a power metal band. It's like a poor man's Kissin Dynamite with higher pitched vocals and less melody or harmony.
  17. So buyers now have 6 fucking months to return things? Are you fucking kidding me? ADDENDUM: 1. Since completed eBay auction listings only remain in eBay's cache for finite period, how does a seller prove what was or was not stated or shown in the listing 6 months after the fact when someone files a dispute? 2. PayPal requires tracking/signature proof of delivery that is viewable online... but USPS only retains tracking information viewable for 60-90 days. Does this mean that every nonreceipt claim opened after 90 days will automatically be found in favor of the buyer? Even if you print out the tracking information showing delivery for every item you sell, PayPal will not accept it, as it isn't information they can verify online.
  18. Two weeks, two 14+ point comeback wins... the birds are not making life easy on the fans, but I'll take it. I'm wondering why New Orleans let Darren Sproles go for a 5th round draft pick. The dude is a monster and a PERFECT fit for Chip Kelly's offense. If I had him on a fantasy team, I'd be giggling hysterically. I remember when the trade happened and some of the fans over on the Eagles board whining because "he's too small" and "he's over the hill, past his prime". Shit, I'll take that "past his prime" any day.
  19. Good track! They apparently have some material that is quite strong melodic rock. I particularly like this one:
