  1. heh heh for some blasphemy might be dislike for Care of Night
  2. been checking out The Motels, beyond Only the Lonely The Motels - Shame (1985)
  3. I enjoyed these 2 songs from Swedish selections Melodifestivalen, kind of pop country and power ballad Anna Bergendahl - Ashes to Ashes (Melodifestivalen) Rebecka Karlsson - Who I am (Melodifestivalen)
  4. Emarosa doesn't sound like synthpop to me.... sounds like a pop/rock song.
  5. Mission Impossible Fallout (2018) - a fun action movie Searching (2018) - good movie, crime mystery drama kept me interested all the way through. Patient Zero (2018) - a bit of a letdown, expected this to be a faster moving zombie-type of movie, buti it ended up pretty slow Hot Summer Nights (2017) - an ok coming of age drama about a teen in 1991. Der Hauptmann (The Captain) (2017) - an interesting WWII story based on real events, movie is in German
  6. according to Wikipedia Tina Turner first performed it... later Ace of Base version was popular too
  7. Well Well Well - Back to you (1988), good if not so known 80's song
  8. some very engaging tracks here, good melodic hr, I like a lot lol is it me or does the singer in that video look like Jeffrey Jey (Gianfranco Randone), the singer of Italian Eurodance band Eiffel 65 (remember Blue Da Ba Dee song?). I had to check to make sure it wasn't him
  9. definitely some edgier songs on there than the first single, I liked it
  10. I think this band has AOR formula down just right, and I think all songs have good melody hooks and good vocals. Nothing average here imho
  11. this album is a real treat for anyone who likes classic AOR, good stuff
  12. I loved it, wonderful electropop ballad! Thank you
  13. it's ok, similar to some post-grunge bands that were popular a decade or so ago
  14. Good song No Tears in Paradise (Official Video)
  15. what is the original release date of these? Anyone know the story of this band? I gather they're from Chicago, no?
  16. yeah, but the mask in Curtains was pretty creepy. And the scene on the road with the creepy doll, also very effective. Ending was unpredictable too. Watched it last night and enjoyed it. Also watched Black Christmas (1974), good one as well. One of the actresses from above is in it. The Christmas Story director connection is awesome. And young Olivia Hussey is very attractive, so is Margot Kidder
  17. Bullet Head (2017) - nice criminal drama with John Malkovich and Adrien Brody Battle of the Sexes (2017) - the Billie Jean King bio drama, pretty good, I was surprised to see quite few comedian actors in it.. Borg vs McEnroe (2017) - also tennis drama similar to the above, but a bit more serious and not as fun
  18. new one from VNV Nation is very engaging synth dance VNV Nation - When is the Future?
