  1. I thought 24 Hours to Live was pretty good.... I also watched Shot Caller, nice criminal drama
  2. I want to see it, even if it's only for Alicia Vikander
  3. I was going to disagree with that, but then I remembered it's a Vega topic and that has nothing to do with this topic
  4. funny how people are all critical about a fun little track that the band did not even care enough for to include on the album.....and yet the song is still more engaging than some debut singles by other bands... also without making this into yet another "my top/best" thread, I am pretty sure that for many HEAT is still one of the best in melodic rock genre
  5. it's a fine pop/rock track with a nice chorus, I don't see anything wrong with it.
  6. looks like a movie biopic is coming out soon I Want to Break Free is my favorite I think, but many to choose from
  7. I looked on amazon and reviews of this album are mostly positive, makes sense because it's a good record
  8. even unreleased songs sound like single contenders
  9. imho that We Were Sharks song above is bad, can this discussion get back on topic of the more superior Vega band?
  10. some of my recent favorites in dance pop, led by the awesome Finnish Eurovision entry by Saara Aalto, my personal winner this year Saara Aalto - Monsters (2018) Rita Ora - Anywhere Bakermat ft Kiesza - Don't want you back (2017)
  11. catchy AOR track, very 80's inspired
  12. Den of Thieves (2018) - good crime drama, similar to movies like Heat (1995), The Town (2010), Takers (2010), Triple 9 etc
  13. debut in 1993.... bad year for this sort of sound, wasn't even pressed in US, sad. I always wonder how popular they were in Europe?
  14. this is good news, female AOR produced I think it's produced by Terra Nova member
  15. watched some foreign bio movies: Tom of Finland (2017) - I think this is my first Finnish movie . Never heard of this guy (real name Touko Laaksonen) prior to watching this movie, an interesting flick about a gay artist whose influential art went against the norms of his time. Dalida (2016) - nice movie about this chanteuse. Heard several of her songs, but was not familiar with her life, interesting French bio drama.
