1983-1984 for me, can't choose just one.

Enough with the off-topic chit-chat threads
Studboy replied to AlphaMale's topic in Exquisite Entropy
I think some people like taking about just music, others like talking about....well other stuff. Personally I don't join in on the chit-chat threads but I'm fine with everyone who enjoys them. I don't have to read them if I don't want to. -
Santa Cruz - Anthem for the Young 'n Restless
Studboy replied to heaven&hell's topic in Music Videos
Yep, I posted it a while back, here is the thread: http://heavyharmonies.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=28687 -
OK, I have to admit I liked the grunge thing at first so I'd have to say these for sure (don't judge me!): Nirvana Pearl Jam Soul Asylum and for hard rock bands: Led Zeppelin (I wish they would please stop playing these guys on classic radio!!!) Rush Slaughter (especially Fly To The Angels) Some GNR (especially Sweet Child O Mine) Anything from the Queensryche Empire CD (especially Silent Lucidity) Black Sabbath with Ozzy singing (especially Iron Man & War Pigs)

Got no life? Does data entry make you horny?

Thanks Dan for the opportunity to help out and for creating this website in the first place! Thank you also to Mike, Pete, Ty and Tim for all their help in the past and good luck to the other "newbies". I'll do my best! For some reason I hear the quote from Spiderman ringing in my head - "With great power comes great responsibility" -
1. Keel 2. Kix 3. Helix The Right To Rock is the best CD of all these 3 bands.

Maybe here? http://www.levykauppax.fi/single/santa_cruz/anthems_for_the_young_n_restless/#mcd

Just my 2 cents, from seeing a good pic of the CD on ebay you can tell from the inner ring that the CD isn't old. So I'm not saying its a bootleg because I can't prove it, I'm just saying it wasn't pressed back in the day when this came out from what I can tell from looking at the picture. I'm not saying......I'm just saying.

They have 2 CDs and they are both really good, maybe a cross between Tesla and Cinderella.
-
WASP almost across the board, they would eat L.A. Guns for breakfast and crap them out by lunch.

anyone know this seller?
Studboy replied to glam_junkie's topic in Good and Bad Traders, Buyers, and Sellers
Be careful, the cd in the pic isnt actually factory sealed, see the resealable strip. Also the band reissued cd-rs artwork is just a photocopy of the original artwork. -
I love this freaking band, thanks for the cool discovery!

Van Halen has gone back to a sound similar to the Women and Children era and I love it. No more polished AOR rock like with Sammy (which I didn't care for as much as the vintage stuff). To me it sounds like they have gone back to their roots (if it ain't broke, don't fix it.). I for one love the new CD. Best track is Outta Space, one of their heaviest tunes ever.

whats going to happen to your CD collection
Studboy replied to 66 mustang's topic in General Music Discussion
I'm in the process of getting ready to sell mine, rather start putting my money towards my kids college education then more CDs. And I'll still have the music too since I have all my CDs ripped in mp3 format. -
Is this the one: http://www.heavyharmonies.com/cgi-bin/glamcd.cgi?BandNum=3212&CDName=Astra If so I agree, excellent melodic rock CD!

Steel Panther - If you really really love me
Studboy replied to Captain Howdy's topic in Music Videos
Can't wait to see these guys live again (for the 3rd time) in December here in KC. Love the new CD (the 2 Japanese bonus tracks are killer too!) -
To me it was very liberating to finally embrace digital music and start selling my CDs. I discovered I NEVER listened to actual CDs anymore, haven't for several years now, I rip them then put them on a shelf and then either shuttle the music around on my ipod, iphone or memory stick. So really why should I keep them all around just to say I have a lot of CDs? If I actually listened to them it would be one thing, but I just don't so it really doesn't make any sense to just have them sitting in my basement taking up space when I can sell them and do something useful with the money. However I'm 41 and it took a LONG time to finally get to this point. So why doesn't everyone just join me on the dark side, I dare you.

I think No Respect and All Those Strangers are both better, but it is pretty darn good.

This is a VERY good CD, I just sold my copy too.

It's very easy, I changed ours too.
