I can't believe I'm the only one who voted for:

I Hear Black [ 1 ] [5.56%]

They all rock though!

WOW... a vote for "I Hear Black?" You're a rare bird my friend.

By the way, my vote goes to 1997's FROM THE UNDERGROUND AND BELOW but my favorite Overkill CD changes almost constantly (the only CD of theirs that I DON'T care for is I HEAR BLACK) so if you asked me tomorrow I would probably give you a different answer...

WELCOME TO THE GUTTER...WE'VE BEEN EXPECTING YOU!!! HAHAHAHAHAAA!

I agree.. My favorite album from Overkill pretty much changes by the day or week..*Chuckles*

And "I Hear Black" Is not that bad damnit..*L*

Just for two songs..."Spiritual Void" and "Just Like You" GOOD songs.. Least I think so..*L*

Oh yes it IS that bad. Even Blitz has admitted that he doesn't care much for I HEAR BLACK at all.

If it weren't for "Spiritual Void" and "World of Hurt" I would've traded that CD away a LONG time ago.

Yea ok it's not their best by a LONG shot, that's true...*Chuckles* World of Hurt is good, but I just LOVE "Just Like you"

Feel the Fire beats the others easily, as far as i'm concerned; followed by Under the Influence, Taking over,The Years of Decay, the Killing Kind and Horrorscope.Necroshine and From the Underground and Below are a bit too much 90s a la Pantera/Machine Head flavored for my taste.

I'm a big fan of Overkill, lots of good songs and some decent albums but for me this one is easy: Horrorscope by a mile. Consistent album, every track is a winner, incredible songwriting. Some of Overkill's best tracks, e.g. 'Nice Day For A Funeral', 'Blood Money', 'Horrorscope', 'Soulitude' - all 10/10 songs. An absolutely brilliant album. All of the other albums have some filler on imo.

Ha, I'd love to jump on a plane and hit one of those fests, but if I were going to do it I should've done so when I was single and in my 20s. Now I'm an old married guy whose spouse & kid probably wouldn't like it much if I dropped everything and disappeared to Europe for a week. Sure would be sweet. Maybe I'll do it when I hit 40 to celebrate my midlife crisis with some of my favorite old school bands! :)

Hmmm.. Don't you hit 40 in a couple months Man???

Yea, I do... wanna loan me the $$ to make this dream a reality? :money:

By the way... DAMN this is an old thread. Overkill has released two more albums (IMMORTALIS and now IRONBOUND) since I first posted this thing....!

There are some good songs on it, that's true, but i just can't stand Terry Date's production: it sounds cold ,lifeless and mechanical. That's okay for a Pantera album, but not for a thrash metal album, imo.

Not a fan by any stretch so I would have to say none of the above. :anon:
