LINKIN PARK announce new singer, album, and single! Trifecta!

- Emily Armstrong of the band Dead Sara joins the group

- New single, The Emptiness Machine, available now

- New album, From Zero, available November 15th 2024

Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we're currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future-embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life.
It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.

Looking forward to this with interest. I think it's a savvy move to not try and replace Chester and go with a completely different vocalist. Much less pressure on them this way.

Actually, this was a brilliant move. She can do Chester's lines on the older material with very similar vocal characteristics to keep it faithful, yet she has a fuller bodied voice in that register. Also it avoids much of the inevitable "Chester wannabe" criticisms.

The live tracks also come off well right out of the gate, let alone once she grows into the position and they gel more.
