Reading all the comments on this seems to indicate an excellent release for the band. Thinking about the tracks, after I played them, and the comments, I came to the conclusion that here is something out of the ordinary. Have you noticed how so much that is released today is "repititious"? Rehash!! This album seems very fresh with very catchy songs, more innovative for lack of a better term. I believe this is going to be their best release! I like this one!!!

Oh, and when I pulled up the video track "Rawk n Roll Heart Attack", I almost thought I was preparing to watch the new ROCK SUGAR track.....LOL!!!!

You may be on to something. I really love this album, too. Yeah, it does feel fresh, even if they are the spiritual successor to Def Leppard.

My biggest problem with this band is just the lead vocals are hard to understand.. Otherwise productions seem great to me.

Agree.

I bought this album recently. I've never paid much attention to these guys but thought I'd give it a chance since I'll likely be seeing them at MRF5 and wanted to get a little bit familiar with some songs.

I'm struggling with it. The music and melodies are pretty good and love the Def Leppard style vibes....But just think the singer is pretty bad. I don't know if it's bad or just that I have a hard time understanding what he's saying 3/4 of the time.

I like the production, all the hooks, some great guitar work and some good choruses. It's just the vocals that are holding it back for me. I pretty much find myself just listening to the music and choruses and sort of zoning out for the verses.

Will probably give it a couple more spins to see if it can grow on me at all.

    • I have absolutely no plan on how to present this on YouTube. I like the idea of a lyric video. I have to wait until the Christmas break to explore my options in more depth, just far too busy at work at the moment.  As for V4, I don't know if it's my imagination or not, but it seems to get better the more you use it. It's still not perfect, but I think it's getting better. I still want to hold off releasing my final versions until the remaster option improves. Ultimately when it comes to remasters, I waht carbon copy of the original, but with crisper vocals and more dynamic music. I don't want the structure or melody changed whatsoever. Hopefully we'll get to that stage. I don't think I'd go down the path of an AI created image of a band. That's beyond cheesy and I don't really want to present this as anything other than it is. A middle/old age guy living vicariously through AI generated music tracks. Don't get me wrong, I'm actually quite proud of the songs I've written and think they hold up in their own right without adding another level of fakery, as do your songs. I'm still in awe of the fact that you've been so passionate about this music and songwriting that you have 200 or so songs ready and waiting. I've always thought how great it would be to write songs, but obviously I've never had access to musicians or singers, so why bother? The instant results you get from Suno changes the landscape completely.  You, on the other hand, not only wrote these songs, but kept them for many years.  You're a true music lover, my hat's off to you man.
    • This is an absolute gem...
    • "Him" from "Some Dreams" which is out now! A Flock Of Seagulls
    • It's crazy how quickly time has flown, and it makes you think. 2020 was also the year Covid kicked off. What is crazy to me is, here I was back then mourning the loss of Eddie to cancer, not knowing that there is a good chance that was probably when I started to develop it myself. I wouldn't find out til 6 or 7 months later, but it was around that time my health was seriously showing the signs. Crazy to think that was three years ago already, It really does put things into perspective.
    • That's actually a pretty cool tune. I like.
    • Already released stuff, or early as in before they started releasing music? Their best stuff is their early stuff, so if it was unreleased stuff that'd be cool.
    • Probably not for me either, this one.
    • Sounds pretty decent. Not sure I'll check out, but solid for what it is.
