Can't hear this at work, Pete, but I'll try to play it quietly in my ear as I go to sleep tonight. ;) Meow.

On another note... the name "Heavy Paradise?" Hmmm, yeah.

No worries brother, it's actually a written interview. :)

As far as the name... I think Heavy Harmonies was taken... ;)

Haha... usually looking at stuff helps, hey? I clicked the link and read the interview. Nice one, mate. Wow, I didn't know you had collaborated with Steve Newman. That's awesome, as I know you were a fan before you had the opportunity to work with him, so that's very cool. :) Looking forward to the new disc.

Yeah, it was way cool to be able to work with Steve! I had written a bunch of music for the album, but I don't usually write lyrics anymore. Kivel suggested Steve and I was like yeah! Steve was into and really kicked some ass IMHO, did you listen to the new song? In case not, it's here.

Also worked with Bart again (Love Won't Wait, BadJune), and another collaboration which I'll save for later, but I REALLY dig what we came up with! :party421:

Should be finally meeting Steve in person at Firefest as well. :)

Nice. I have the link to the new song open now, so as soon as every pisses off out of the office I'll give it a listen. I'm excited.

LOL I hope you like it, it is PURE melodic rock... bordering on AOR even. Definitely not the heaviest track from the new release, but a big ass hook for sure. :)

Haha. Just heard it. I don't even need to comment on it as you may know that's pretty much exactly what I dig. Love the song. Nice solo, too. Very promising for the album ahead!

    • Is it still just the original drummer? The dude who has said how much he disliked when the band went in a more melodic direction?    It’s solid metal, very cool music. But no hooks or notable choruses sadly makes it pretty easy to pass on.
    • New song 'Artificial Minds'.
    • New song 'Hurricane'.

Featuring their two Music For Nations albums, ‘Young And Crazy’ and ‘Bezerk’. Plus singles, rarities and live cuts. Forming in Cardiff in Wales in the mid-1980s, with Steevi Jaimz on vocals, Jay Pepper on lead guitar, Pepsi Tate on bass and Ace Finchum on drums Tigertailz recorded their snotty and street smart debut ‘Young And Crazy’ in 1987. Signing to influential heavy metal label, Music For Nations (Metallica, RATT), their first record is considered a classic of 1980s British glam and hair metal. As Wales’s answer to Mötley Crüe, through songs such as ‘Shoot To Kill’ and ‘Livin' Without You’, they found fans in the pages of Kerrang! and Sounds, the most influential rock and metal magazines of the time. The band found commercial success with the more radio friendly and commercially orientated ‘Bezerk’ in 1990, propelled into the Top 40 album charts by the single ‘Heaven’, plus the bubblegum classic ‘Love Bomb Baby’, a song that has become their calling card. Produced by Chris Tsangarides, the main change in the band for ‘Bezerk’ was Kim Hooker replacing original singer Steevi Jaimz on vocals. No slouches when it came to releasing singles and EPs, CD3 of this three disc set is a treasure trove of rarities and non-album cuts, kicking off with the ‘Shoot To Kill' EP, plus live versions of ‘Nine Livez’ and ‘She'z Too Hot’. Jump to December 2022 and a new dawn arose for Tigertailz, including a shows with Steel Panther, plus brand new singles. ‘Love Bomb Baby’ reignited interest in the band when it was used by famed Hollywood director James Gunn in his Peacemaker TV series for HBO. The band continues to show their diversity with their latest releases in 2024, ‘A Little Bit Of Rock’, proving there's more than just hairspray and eyeliner to these Welsh maniacs!
    • I have submitted all three albums anyway. The debut really is just modern rock. The second album I feel is the heaviest but still melodic enough. The third album though I think is the perfect middle ground.
