Loud & Clear?

A fellow trader mate of mine sent this cd to me by mistake when i bought some cds from him and he said to burn a copy before i return it.I desided to give it a spin and i'm enjoying this so much that i'm thinking of buying it from him if it's not promised to anyone else.

 

Just wondering if there's any fans of this band on the board?

Brilliant band. And the reason some of us here are so frustrated with the Rock Sugar release. For your info, Dave, this is the same band that has released the CD under the band name "Rock Sugar" this year, which is essentially an album of poor cover songs. As you have now tasted, if you can record original songs that good, why waste your time dicking around with cover songs?

The first release is just too cheesy for me but Disconnected is AWESOME!!!!

F**ck,F**ck and bloody F**ck as this cd is promised to someone else but at least i have discovered a gem.The version that my mate has is a Jap press Avalon micy 1030 with one bonus Jap track and this S/T release is a 1997 press.

 

I will burn a cdr and scan the cover as i have been really enjoying this one.

 

I agree Geoff,why piss fart around with bland boring covers when you as a band know that you can write some kick ass material but i guess like alot of bands studio covers and being a live cover band brings in more $.

 

Jess Harnell has a great set of pipes and the band is tight as,get back in the studio and do something original,don't waste the talent you have as i would pick up anything new from this band.

Well seeing as the band are getting more media attention as Rock Sugar than they ever got as Loud & Clear, that gives them a damn good reason to record such a great covers CD.

I'm not into the Rock Sugar stuff either.....rather hear new Loud & Clear music..

Disc-Connected is a great slice of Melodic Rock. I really like the S/T also.
