I saw that the Last Temptation album with Frank Vestry is being re-issued bed (see below). Has anyone heard it. Can it be compared to Marcello/Vestry.

"New York based rockers Last Temptation have just re-released their record which is available now. Vocalist Frank Vestry of Marcello/Vestry says: “This is a record that we've all worked very hard on and that we think the Melodic Rock Community will really like. I also think the Marcello fans will enjoy Arnie's guitar style”.

Guitarist/Songwriter/Producer Arnie Miot started the group and along with Vestry and bassist Steve Hervatic made a big buzz on the New York scene in the early 90s.

The band also states: "We felt that it was time to finally release this record the right way. So here it is, Better Late Than Never. We hope you enjoy it!"

I've had the CD close to a month now, bought it from Arnie & it is a superb slice of melodic hard rock! I'd best describe it as a cross between old school van halen with splashes of dokken with hints of mr big.

Arnie's other band Coy Dogs sounds very like classic Alice In Chains!!!!!

That band called Touch then Cypress then Ariel this was pre Last Temptation some of the tunes were recorded with Ace Frehley producing and Anton fig on drums and we were knocking out demos at Right Track studios in NYC. After those sessions we met up with Steve Murphy who would play drums and sing backups.

This was the evolution that took place until we hooked up with Frank Vestry and his amazing vocals and thats when Last Temptation started and we just took off from there.

Heard this one today - very nice. There's no doubt this dude can sing, but he had a very good band behind him here too. Good, solid release without anything to shabby on it at all.

    • Not much information on the video's page, other than it appears to be an AI creation. Once it gets into the verse and especially the chorus, it's actually not too bad IMO.
    • While I appreciate your interest in contributing to the site, most of the artists and albums you are submitting are either REALLLLLLY stretching the boundaries, or as in the case of this band, completely off the mark. No alternagrunge. No punk. No death metal/power metal (although those can be submitted to Brutal Metal). You can always start a thread asking about a particular artist before blindly submitting it for inclusion. Thanks! -Dan
