Rocklahoma will always be in my good books for being so organized and just being an all-round great experience. I am surprised more H.H. members don't go to Rocklahoma - I am hoping to entice most of you to give it a shot in 2010. I think you'll be quite impressed with the line-up. I can tell you right now who I am going after for the smaller acts...

Wildside , Shark Island , Babylon AD , Tuff , Tyketto , Brighton Rock , Cry Wolf , Roughhouse , Steel Panther , Praying Mantis , Defcon plus the return of D'Molls , Baton Rouge , Icon , Silent Rage , Lord Tracy , Pair-a-dice , Mariah , Mad Margritt and quite a few others...

Come give it a shot in 2010 , VIP tickets are only $250 and its gonna be a killer show!! Don't worry about the heat - all sidestage tents will be cooled and the VIP tent is always cool.

Incidentally , I have a whole boat-load of new releases out so I better get a press release to Dan.

ROCK ON!

Damn those are some good names! Any thoughts on trying to get something going with Dakota Rock Fest?

To think I could have came out to Dakota Rock Fest and met some of you fine folks, saw a boob get autographed, and actually been at a cool festival.

Next year my friend.

We'll be there and I'll even shave my boobs for you. :drink:

Hey, whoah! I missed this the first time! I would have settled for an autograph on my Farcry cd but since we're talking shaved boobs...

I'll bring my camera and maybe you'll let all of us sign your boobs?

I'll drink many beers with you in the VIP tent but I will not shave my boobs for you.

I don't shave my boobs for anyone ever.

Seriously I hope you can make next year. This year they did a suggestion box and I know it was full of RATT and Tesla suggestions so hopefully they can pull them in. I also hope he can get some corporate sponsorship to make things even better although this year the set up for VIP was perfect as we were able to hang around and meet the bands and get pics with everyone but Bret Michaels.

  • 4 weeks later...

I don't think many of you on this board had tickets but just in case you did the Rock Gone Wild website disappeared a few days ago.

They had no intention of giving a refund even though they had a refund page on the website for awhile.

So I called my credit card company and they already had information about this in their database and gave me a permanent refund to my account (it will take 1 -2 business days though but fine by me). They said they will go after RGW for their money (fine by me).

So, if you had tickets hurry because supposedly you only get 6 months from the time of purchase to file a dispute. (I'm not sure if that is true or not)

This makes an excellent story. I've wanted to write it for a while, but I honestly don't know all of the facts. It would be nice if anyone could point me in the direction of concrete evidence that I could use. The last thing I would want is to spread around mis-information. Is there a chance that we won't find out the real story until the trial, if it ever makes it that far?

personally, i wouldn't go around telling any stories or collecting any evidence. all you can do there is get yourself in trouble. I'd leave that sorta stuff to the legal eagles.

    • From Bravewords... Legendary rock guitarist Jake E. Lee (Ozzy Osbourne, Badlands, Red Dragon Cartel) has issued an update after he was shot multiple times earlier this week in a Las Vegas, NV street shooting. Jake shared the following via social media: "Checking. Is this on? Been awhile since I posted here. Let’s see: "I deeply appreciate all the concern and well wishes. Makes everything going on a little better. To clarify, I was shot three times. I was on my way back home from walking my dog Coco (I didn’t name him so don’t!) Don’t want to go into details now, I’m tired, but I feel relatively very lucky. The police found 15 shell casings at the scene which means he emptied his clip on me. I could only dodge so many so one bullet went through my forearm, one through my foot, and one in the back which broke a rib and damaged a lung. Priority now is to keep draining my lung till it’s done crying. Then we can pull that tube out and concentrate on the more minor injuries. "And by the way, Coco’s fine and appreciates your inquiries!"   Police released a statement regarding the shooting, which occurred early morning on October 15. The statement reads: "Officers responded to a shooting incident in the 11000 block of Alora Street. Officers arrived and located a male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The male was transported to the hospital. No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation." In a statement to TMZ, Ozzy Osbourne said, “It’s been 37 years since I’ve seen Jake E. Lee, but that still doesn’t take away from the shock of hearing what happened to him today. It’s just another senseless act of gun violence. I send my thoughts to him and his beautiful daughter, Jade. I just hope he’ll be ok.” Lee played with Ozzy from 1983-1987 and was featured on the albums Bark At The Moon and The Ultimate Sin.
    • I fuckin' knew you would be the one to answer.  But you're not wrong. ;}
    • This is one of the songs Erik and Jona wrote for the next Skid Row album before he handed his notice in
    • So I have this info from a reliable inside source. There will be a new CL album at the start of 2025, and Danny is also working with Chez Kane on her third album which should come out late 2025.
    • In the mail from our old pal Stormspell: Timeless Haunt - Dark For Life Icarus Witch - Capture The Magic (2CD w/Roses on White Lace EP and bonus tracks)
