What the hell is up with these (0) Feedback bidders?

Recommended Posts

I have had several 0 feedback bidders bid on my auctions the last few months and then not pay for their items. I had this person yesterday bid on one of my games and then not answer emails, they just registered a few days ago , so I know damn well they dont have a paypal acct to pay with! Yet ebay doesnt have a block on 0 feedback bidders. Not everyone is bad,but lately about 90 percent of 0 feedback bidders have been that way. What are you thoughts on this?

I have a stipulation that anyone with less than 5 must contact me before bidding, or it gets cancelled... And YES... I've cancelled MANY so far. I just don't have the patience to deal with the relisting of things and waiting for ebay to get me the fees back, etc...

I put that on most of my auctions and the dipshits still bid! And if they bid at the last minute there is no way to pull their bid, ebay wont let you block them. I guess the only thing you can do is wait 7 days and get your listing fees back, Ive thought about offering it to the next highest bidder, but then you run into maybe getting a negative feedback. All I know is, this shit is getting old with these deadbeat bidders.

So....let me ask a hypothetical question....would you feel confident having someone with say 20 feedbacks and 100% rating bid on your auctions??? My point is, the sellers cannot give negative feedback to buyers, so in theory, every buyer only has 100% positive feedback......I don't pay any attention to feedback on E Bay anymore....It means absolutely NOTHING.

I can give you many examples of people who are using certain e bay id's who have been discussed many times on this board who have 100% feedback with over 50 feedbacks, yet, they have been suspended over and over by e bay while using other ID's and haven't paid tons of sellers here and elsewhere......

You see someone with 0 feedback bidding on your auction. Find out who he is. If you aren't satisfied, block him and cancel the bid and move on. When you sell on E Bay, it is like going to the casino and taking your chances, because there just isn't a utopia there!!!

Someone having 20 pos feedbacks would make me feel a little better, but your right feedback means nothing these days, you dont know what your getting, but Ive had a shitload of trouble with mostly 0 feedback bidders.

How can eBay block 0 bidders?

I mean, we were all 0 bidders once, and had to start somewhere.

How would you all have felt if you were unable to bid on something you wanted, purely based on the fact you have just registered?

I've had more trouble with people with high feedback than I have ever had with low feedback.

In all complete 100% honesty, I have never even really looked at anyone's feedback when bidding on my items at all, so I don't know if they have 0 or 1000. I'm just grateful they're interested. To be honest, I couldn't care less. I've never had an issue selling CDs on ebay either; low or high feedback.
