'Underbelly'

Hey guys (except Dave and Andre in Victoria - ) did many people watch this series?

Blah blah it was great (and it really was... coming from someone who HATES Australian TV) and I honestly believe it was the best, and probably only good TV show that's ever come out of Australia, except for the excellent version of 'Temptation Island' and 'Big Brother'. Okay, let's just say it's the best non-reality TV show to come out of Australia, and imo the only good one.

BUT! To the point of my post...

Did you guys see last night's episode? Did you see the masseuse???

Z...

O...

M...

F...

G...!

Someone find some pictures of her on the net, for the love of jeebers.

Yeah, that masseus last night. WOW! When they had that low shot from behind you could see the shilouette of her Big-W, her toe, her pouch... whatever you want to call it. Revolutionary for Aussie tv.

She had a top figure. Coulnd't work out what nationality she was though... some sort of Islander?

And for the series, I kind lost touch a few weeks ago ... losing track of who was who and who was dead. I deliberately turned off before the end last night cos I want to watch it all again without knowing the very end.

One thing I didn't like was having aussie comedians playing hitmen. They just didn't fit the part. Colin Carpenter as a hit man ... maybe not. That bearded git as a goon... too hard to believe. Apart from that, it was a top series... boobs and all.

Yeah, there were tits n' ass all over the show weren't there. But talk about saving the best for last! Have you ever seen a female form so fine as that masseuse???!!! I would guess she probably was some Islander maybe. I really am not sure either. The ass on her... I collapsed internally. And then she came back for the second naked scene too. Bliss. I know why you're supposedly waiting to buy the DVD - so you can slow motion and pause her two scenes till the end of the year. Revolutionary for Aussie TV; I could not agree more. There has not been anything that sexy on a TV screen for as long as I can remember.

Anyway, I have to admit, I missed one episode and unfortunately missed a big part in the death toll. When Jason Moran's brother was offed. I want to get the DVD for sure. Apparently it's only $50 for the entire 13 episode DVD.

As for the comedians, I don't know many Aussie actors too well, but I noticed that too; a few comedians in there. Didn't effect me too much because I thought everyone's role was extremely well played. Top show.

That surprises me not a bit. That whole ban in Victoria has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever witnessed in my life. Out of curiosity, how did you see it? If I turn you in will you be arrested?

That is f*cking hilarious.

And Bernd, trust me. I would love nothing more than to share these images with you. Maybe one day... we can all hope.

 ....Every 2nd house has a copy which looks to be from the original TV master tapes.

You can get it for about $5 at any local market, pub, you name it.

 I saw it at a friends house but because I was drunk  I've forgotten where he lives if the police ever ask me  .

 I WOULD NEVER ALLOW A COPY OF THIS IN MY HOUSE  .....NEVER  ....IT'S AGAINST THE LAW

  • 1 year later...

Did any of these series ever air overseas anywhere? Any of you foreigners seen them yet? We're into our 3rd series now, which looks excellent also, and this remains, imo, the best Aussie TV series of all time.

You can't keep feeding the Cops with info to get special perks and not expect this to happen....It was just a matter of time

Yeah, if you loved 'The Sopranos' you'll love this one... it's like real Aussie version of the show. All based on fact. I'm the first to critisise the awful quality of Aussie TV, but this show is just excellent.

And Matt, you do realise that only the first series was about Carl Williams, don't you?

Umm, I'd have to say Kath & Kim win best Aussie tv show hands down.

Yeah, that one's pretty funny I have to admit. Have you seen 'Underbelly', though?

No, I only get what BBC America, IFC and Sundance decide to air over here so it's pretty slim pickings.

  • 2024 HH Donation Drive

Please support Heavy Harmonies! The donations goal is the out-of-pocket expenses to run the main site and this board for calendar year 2024.

    • He did want her to see " Living' On A Prayer" accurately works
    • No support is too small, and every donation is appreciated. Thanks! -Dan
    • Sorry my donation is small, but you know my circumstances Done It will be under name Andrew Sharp
    • Well... I mean... it's true.   Time once again to nag/beg/plead/insult (wait, what?) to help out covering Heavy Harmonies' expenses. Costs for the site run roughly US$195 a month, roughly the same as last several years.  So when I say "costs", what do I mean? It's the out-of-pocket expenses to keep Heavy Harmonies running: server lease, bandwidth, hosting support, and the subscription for this forum software, domain registration. The 2023 drive did pretty well, reaching 83% of goal of covering the annual costs. Let's see if we can meet, or better yet, beat that goal! The donation drive will run through Halloween, October 31.   Anyone who makes a single donation of $20 or more and has a board username will be added to the group "2024 Donors". This gets you the following benefits: A nice shiny icon in your profile showing that you are an HH Donor for 2024:  An increase in the size of your PM storage from 200 to 500 messages An increase in image attachment/upload storage from 20MB to 50MB Exempt from the search flood control (normally if you try and do a search more than every 10 seconds, you get an annoying little "please wait" message) No time limit on editing your own posts! This will especially be useful for those with trade/sale lists as you'll be able to edit them rather than posting revised versions. A warm fuzzy feeling inside that you are helping support Heavy Harmonies! If you donate $50 during the drive, either as a single donation or across multiple donations, you will be added to the group "2024 Gold Donors". This gets you the following in addition to the above: A bigger, shiny badge:  All your posts will be highlighted, because if you show this much dedication to HH, what you have to say is obviously more more important! (just kidding, but your posts will be accentuated). The ability to create a forum "signature" that will be added to all of your posts. If you donate using buttons on the main site, please put your board username in the notes section, and if you donate from here on the forum, please PM me the email address that you sent the donation from! Otherwise I have no way to tie your donation to your membership here on the board. If you are currently in the 2023 donor groups but don't wish to donate this year (or can't), at the beginning of the donation drive, your group membership features will revert to the regular non-donator membership group. Membership in the 2024 Donors group will last until the beginning of next year's donation drive, at which point you can donate again to remain in the Donors group with the same benefits, or revert back to your current member group. PayPal donation buttons are found at the top of all the pages on the main site and here on the forum on the right side at the top, or if you'd prefer to send a money order, check, or cash (not recommended, but I know some people prefer to do so), you can make payable to Dan Harding and send to: Heavy Harmonies P.O. Box 17021 Urbana, IL 61803 USA If you can't give $20, give $10... if you can't give $10, give $5... it's just once a year. (And if you happen to be fortunate enough to be earning gobs of money, please feel free to give bunches! I'm not opposed to having a sugar daddy... or seven.) As always, your support is greatly appreciated! -Dan
