I only picked up on this recently after the annoying/continuous ravings of the likes of Geoff and Glen. There are a couple of obvious fillers, but "If the Good Die Young" would be my pick...

There is the re-issue coming out this month, so may take a punt on it, 'seeing as it is so good' ;). Will let you knoiw what I think

Jez I'm sure you'll love this disc and I'm suprised you don't have it already.

Has anyone seen the new artwork for the reissue? The chick that was originally on the cover is now either MIA or AWOL!! :crying:

Fucking re-issues.

I wonder if they couldn't get her permission for some reason.

oh man that sucks.

Saw the cover minus the girl. If not just wanting a different cover for the reissue, more than likely it has to do with having the copyrights to the original cover and licensing. There are few things you have to think about before using a previous cover. One, someone who is involved with the reissue has to own rights to reuse the cover art or get a new license to use it from the copyright owner for a 2nd usage. Two, any models on the older covers must give permission to use their image again for a second time. Older usage licenses would have expired by now from the original CD. Just because it is a reissue does not mean it is not two different CDs.

I was jamming to this last night...all of the colors are wrong. I wonder if this is even a legit re-issue.

Haha. That girl on the cover was half the reason I bought this CD back in the day, without having any idea in the world who the band was. Criminal that she's been excluded.

I agree. And if they couldn't use her pic they could've at least found another hottie to replace her! :tits:

I'll still be picking this up, I guess the remastering job is fantastic!

Angel in black...but like ive said before they should've backed off a tad on the production and beefed up the guitars in the mix.Lacks some serious balls to me.Max Norman usually has the guitar up front and center on his albums (Ozzy,Loudness,Lynch Mob etc.

    • It's ok. I think people know I am a massive Crue fan, and I like a lot of stuff by them that people hate (the Generation Swine album for example) but the only newer original song I have cared about them in recent years was The Dirt. Everything else has been either meh or crap. I did also like their cover of Like a virgin, which I know a lot of peeps didn't like, so it's not like I am just craving the good old days. I would be happy if we could get a song close to Afraid, Saints of Los Angeles or the aforementioned The Dirt. I think songs like that will be few and far between sadly.
    • Have to agree. Although my expectations were that it would be absolutely horrible like Dogs of War lol. Still far away from classic Motley Crue but I at least made it all the way through this one so that's a positive. Still nothing to write home about but at least it rocks fairly well and there's a semblance of a song there.
