Picked up this week : - Eagles - s/t ... Orig. white Asylum label, like I used to have when I first got into them, even though I have a later copy...going thru a bit of a nostalgia thing. Eagles - On The Border - same reason as above! Also since last post a few bits of vinyl I picked up...there's probably more but here's what I remember The Firesign Theatre - The Tale of the Giant Rat of Sumatra (some Monty Python type stuff apparently - not got around to playing it yet) bought for the sleeve only and the princely sum of £2 Man - Christmas at the Patti - double 10" Gwendal - Some kind of French folk band Chikkin - Which Came First (white Vinyl) - but I seem to have lost it without even playing it - it should be between Cheap Trick and Chilliwack! Yes - Going for the One (nostalgia again!) Family - Anyway - in the vinyl outer with the gatefold inner....again the nostalgia thing Space Opera - s/t Star Star - Go Go Girls in Love

Has this arrived yet mate? I'm holding off as I've heard conflicting views (just listening to Q107 and Kim's on they're playing Deep Dive at the mo. and I believe they are doing a facebook live unboxing of the vinyl box in a min so might log back in for a short time) , but I've heard the CD box is a little on the flimsy side and some suggest it doesn't come with the booklet? I can't see that as in the ad I'm sure it says the CD Box comes with the booklet.

Well hot on the heels of the Volume 1 box set comes the Volume 2 box (Vol1. isn't released for a couple of days yet!) This time it spans 1980 - 1990 over 7 CDs - Looking forward to both and have had vol1. on preorder for what seems like ages but this second box features Manchester 1981 ... I'm sure I had this on tape which I picked up back in my trading days as I was at the gig (supporting Sammy Hagar) but I can't find it anywhere so it'll be nice to have it. Wonder if it'll feature the mucking about when Kip Leming broke a bass string.

Nick C replied to Scandinavia's topic in General Music Discussion
St. Thomas - Electric City Cheap Trick - We're All Alright Riot - Fire Down Under -
Cap'n - pick it up on Amazon for under £13 - I'm deffo looking forward to this falling thru the letter box - I always thought KT were massively overlooked and it was a pity they fell by the wayside while lesser bands went that bit further.
