Tried to do one song for each band but the darn Robert Connolly only had the full album as a link. The LP came with a nifty little comic book (mine actually has two - ha! Result!)

How to survive the inevitable CD revival
Nick C replied to Dead Planet's topic in General Music Discussion
Yeah it has it's points, if it wasn't for the nimrod of a hack who wrote it making some moronic and sweeping statements throughout the piece I might have enjoyed it more. "Many CD players took only one disc so you'd be frequently be swapping them out"...huh! Well kinda beats vinyl for sitting on your backside not having to move . "If you knew someone who had every CD in the right jewel case, that was often a tell that this person doesn’t listen to their music enthusiastically or often enough (It’s possible they were just slightly organized, but where’s the fun in that)" - or they actually gave a shit about what they were listening to and took a little care when putting them away. Where's the fun in being organised? Where's the fun in scrambling through shed loads of CDs looking for the one you were after. "Maybe, you have a CD player unironically in your front room right now. We admire the dedication." - well woop dee f*cking doo, I'm honoured. -

Wrabit - Wrough & Ready Wrabit - West Side Kid Notice the Wrabit albums have been given a ltd re-release - helps fill a couple of gaps. Japan - Quiet Life
-
House of Shakira - Lint XXV (pleased this is out as I preferred the songs done with the orig. vocalist, some of which appeared on Frontiers magazine CDs, over the album that came out with the new vocalist - a very Cockroachish release as you get both versions)

Accept - Predator Japan - Adolescent Sex Japan - Obscure Alternatives Nightwing - Stand Up and Be Counted Nightwing - Black Summer

Waysted - Vices .... funny looking at the cover and was surprised to see Putin on it. RTZ - Return to Zero Black Spiders - s/t -
I'd say between D2 (Poley Version out of the two for me) and Seventh Key - both top albums
-
Dave Lee Roth, much as his vocals leave a little to be desired at times I much prefer him over the cat screech of Axl - nails down a chalkboard spring to mind. Steve Whiteman 100% excellent !!!! Lou Gramm by a countrymile
-
Well Tyler for me in every way too, not keen on Coverdale at all with his pretentious personna and fake "posh Englishman" accent e.t.c. - he's from North Yorkshire FFS - "Ay ooop lad". To me he is what a rock star would be if cast in a soap opera (blech!). Plus I'm an Aerosmith fan boy

Kix - Midnite Dynamite - but the Re-Lit version that he remixed is tons better than the original.
