If I had known Aerosmith were remastering I mightn't have bought all their 70s albums recently. That being said I don't know if I find any remasters I have to be superior to original editions, other than packaging upgrades. Audio wise I often prefer the original versions or earliest pressings. Might be something about being more familiar with the first versions you hear though maybe?

I quite like about half of the Depeche Mode album, especially the track "Ghosts Again" which is outstanding. The EMF "Go Go Sapiens" album is very good. I love the Greta Van Fleet "Starcatcher" album. They get better with each release. But my favourite so far (non HH) is definitely Foo Fighters "But Here We Are". I think it is actually their best since "The Colour and the Shape" and I wasn't expecting to get another classic from them, so it has been a pleasant surprise. "The Teacher" is a phenomenal track.

Anyone out there with tastes that expand outside typical HH fare, whether into the pop, urban or extreme fields etc. What is your favourite album that doesn't appear in Heavy Harmonies in 2023 so far?

Envy kills everything. I finally got the album as it was cheap on Amazon. It's no disgrace to release a great one-and-done album.

My local JB has all CDs on tables now, the range has shrunk and they are remodelling the store. I think they are getting rid of their CD range altogether in store. It has been getting worse there every month. They have no good prices anymore, way more expensive than online even. They are pretty dead to me now and they were basically the last bricks and mortar store I had access to within 3 hours of my home.
