  2. Nicely said! The first song (s) that always jump in my mind is: Bon Jovi's-Living On A Prayer & Belinda Carlisle's-Heaven On Earth Also: Romantics-What I Like About You & John Cougar Mellencamps-ROCK In The USA
  3. Which for the record I found and being the gentlemen and the saint that I am (insert puking smiley here) said, "Hey James, you don't want this Pharoah cd do ya?" James is tons of fun and a wealth of musical information, but when scrounging he is all over the place and skips over some amazing stuff in his haste. And as stated everywhere, ANYTIME ANYONE IS NEAR SEATTLE, HELL I DROVE 2 HOURS SOUTH TO CENTRALIA TO GRAB ANAMAL AND TOTE HIM AROUND TACOMA, DROP ME LINE AND LUNCH ON YOU AND MORE CD STORES THAN YOU CAN SHAKE A STICK AT ON ME! Thanks for the collection compliment, wait until I get done typing up the stuff I found on our 3 day tour, remember, my collection is only 1/2 as cool as James'. Quantity wise anyway.
  4. I absolutely love Dream Theater and I know there are one or two other here that like 'em aswell as alot not liking them. Phenomenal band with a brilliant discography, but if you are not into prog metal and musical noodling in general, then I can see why they wouldn't be your thing. Yeah - I have utmost respect for them as musicians (they are awesome live) and for some of their early work - "Images and Words" and "Awake" are magnificent - but I just don't get Prog at all. I'd never slag this band as there is hardly anyone better at doing this stuff, but I can't sit through a whole album of theirs without my attention wandering (often, ironically, to porn)... I do like some of there stuff just not enough to warrant keeping this. I figured this might be a chance for someone looking for a rarier version of this issue to get it here. There was a ton of other items that came in the unit. Off the top of my head I remember John Sykes - Chapter 1 Cd - Japan issue, Promo issue of Judas Priests Bullet Train with Eddie Money - Shakin with the money, Man, Queensryce- Special Limited edition Promo Only full length cd Empire, a couple sealed shooting star cds, and just tons of everything. I have to admit I am a ADDICT to buying unpaid storage units. I have built a huge collection of cds from this at below dirty cheap prices. The unit I mentioned that was a music store close out cost me a whooping 40.00. QUESTION: How does one get into cahoots with the storage companies to buy the unpaid units???
  5. Thanks for reminding me, that cd is still in your package, I better get that out to Wes... Dan, anytime you want to hit the streets of Seattle let me know and I will cart you around. Thanks Aris!
  6. Well boys and girls here is a (albeit poor) snapshot of Mr. James "staryder1" Gebbia and myself in an unknown location, somewhere USA admiring my cd collection and showing off a few rarities. Even though the picture flashed out a bit, the cd's from left to right are: Mr. Grinch, Villan, Pharoah and Shotgun Alli. (The Pharoah and Mister Grinch were purchased during James 3 day stay) All in all the haul was staggering and I know James and I will be listing the discs we purchased, in this thread soon. A majority of the cd's are mind bogglingly amazing! In the three days we left nary a store/pawn shop unscrounged in the majority of the state. (I put over 600 miles on my car in the 3 days!)
  7. All the way from Portugal a little ditty called: Shake The Jungle-Stick To Your Guns Thanks Mr. Fernendez! You are the man!
  8. Since my last post have read a few: Nikki Sixx-The Heroin Diaries Motley Crue's-The Dirt The Davinci Code The Breaking Of The DaVinci Code (Seriously lame and did not break one single code/fact with anything other than more speculation and hypothesis) Bruce Cambell-If Chins Could Talk and Make Love The Bruce Cambell Way (BOTH HIGHLY RECOMENDED) Now reading: Urban Legends-the Truth Behind All Those Deliciously Entertaining Myths That Are Absolutely, Posotively, 100% Not True! By Richard Roeper

  14. I am not afraid to admit to liking the Hooters. Karla With A K is probably one of my fave's, but then again that entire record is quite tasty.
  15. MIne's from 2002 on Deadline and its called simply "A Tribute To Journey" Kelly Hanson also sings Wheel In The Sky.
  16. Negative Geoffrey some really well performed glammy rock n roll. You should buy it and enjoy.
  17. C'mon Dave, whats in your bag of secrets... I always love Dave's teasers... Yeah... and every now and then I know what I'm talking about and get something right. Mum's the word huh?
  18. You can't beat a great DISNEY movie can you Terry ? True, watch this one with the little ones and then sleep with one eye open after that.
  19. Watched a very good movie last night called Home Movies. Search it out it is pretty damned disturbing. The premise is a slew of compiled "home videos" of this family of 4 in Connecticut and how screwed up the kids are turning out to be and the things they are doing. The movie has that Blair Witch/Cloverfeild hand held cam sort of vibe, not for everyone, but I dig em.
  20. That MARK WOOD is Excellent! That Band THE STAND, Are they the ones that sang IF YOU SEE KAY? I thought April Wine did If You See Kaye?
  21. I'm pretty sure you'll be hearing alot about D'Molls in the near future. I've always had a soft spot for 'em .... especially the Warped album - Down to Nothing is a great song. C'mon Dave, whats in your bag of secrets... Always loved the D'molls. The D'molls Strutt is a great son, hell the whole album is awesome! Very underated and under appreciated band.
  22. I've had this one for years and if you enjoy Enuff Z Nuff this cd is a must!! Ver good indeed!
  23. Very cool Captain, would enjoy meeting Brett, the Hart Foundation was a favorite of mine back in the day. Can't say that I have followed wrestling that much over the past 10 years, but 20+ years ago I was nutty for it! Only met one wrestler, even got his autograph, unfortunately it is mia...does anyone here remember Dutch Savage? Mabe this will remember ya: "Heart Punch".
