  2. Ahhh. Thanks Jim! Missed these, been a while since I trolled the Babeage...
  3. Rapid fire, Anacrusis and Chemical Annihilation are mine!!! Really looking forward to these!! Love those Pacific NW bands!
  4. Tis true and why did they air brush away her tat?
  5. I've heard of them...bluesy folk/polka band if if I'm not mistaken... Backed, It's unfortunate that the guitarist is a bit of a stage/studio hog and a bit of a prima donna, really drowns out and takes away from the genious polka accordian stylings of the one and only Gus Polanski.
  6. Absolutely the most brilliant thing ever said! NO JOKE! However, I'll do you one better and say 100% of all music played on the radio today.

  8. That Young Saints song is great, who cares if it is HH able or not! And if it makes you feel better buy it and send it my way. The 2nd link is a dud. For me anyway's.
  9. Arrived Saturday through a most excellent trade with the birthday boy Mr. Paulo Fernendez: Stitch-Freakshow Box & Nightrain-Here We Are Thanks a million my friend and I hope that AKA disc tickles your fancy!
  10. D*mn! Nice pic dude...strawberry ice cream was always my favorite and she even sang on a PF album to boot. Nice! And unlike many of the other pics, that's live and not all "posed up" like some of the other ones, if you can look that good on stage, hell yeah! Backed and then some!!! Sam Hagar said it best when he said: " Red, red I want red! There's no substitute for red!"
  11. Sorry Jim and others, but she is no es bueno! Vocally weak, song *gulp* writing really weak and as far as looks go...many, many, many superior and with more talent. Again my apologies for the feathers that I will ruffle, but hey opinions are like Camaros right.
  12. I like it! Got that nice London Quireboys/Janis Joplin vibe. Is this that Andy McCoy project called Cherry Bombs? Sidebar: How in the dickens do you get the links to pop up the media player??? I would love to do stuff like that for a song or 2.
  13. Hell, I'd pay to see that just for the rumble... Can you imagine the finale with both bands performing together on stage? "And I love you can't you see... That I can say I love you honestly... Bleeding its horror... Creating my structure... Now I shall reign in blood!... You, you make my life complete..." I seem to remember there was some trouble between Glen Benton of Deicide and Stryper back in the day, and Glen ended up looking like more of a cock than he usually does! Oh, and as for Slayer and Stryper on the same bill? http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermo...ewsitemID=56077 http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermo...ewsitemID=57062 And then it didnt happen!! Truly could have been called the "Heaven and Hell" tour.
  14. Why are the majority of those acts at a JAZZ festival? My guess would be that, like Jazz, all of those other artist always have been, are and always will be terrible (okay, I have to admit I don't mind some of these songs I'm hearing off that new Kings of Leon disc... but as for the rest of them...) but at least Bon Jovi were once an excellent band by most standards, and many would agree they are still pretty decent. Sure the BJ boys had some hits back in the day but a number of the acts on this bill are far superior, albeit from way different genre's than BJ. However: They still are not JAZZ! And don't give me this: "It's in New Orleans so that's why its called a jazz festival." I don't get it? It's like all you can eat ribs at a Vegan joint. Or like going to McDonalds for an eye exam!?!?!?!?!?! Or Slayer and Stryper on the same bill! Just makes ZERO sense when you walk it through.
  15. Why are the majority of those acts at a JAZZ festival?
  16. Agreed! A very talented and solid sounding Ray Vaughn/Jeff Healy styled band. Interesting name for a brand new blues/rock band though?! Thought for sure it was to be a sleeze rock band from Italy or Sweden. Thanks for the link.
  17. Here' a few new tapes I've found recently.
  18. Nice! Always have enjoyed the stuff these guys have done. those Metal Skool/Metal Shop cd's are great.

  20. Love the demo tapes! Everytime I see tapes I have to go through them just in case... The majority of mine are local to the Pacific NW, I added Brigand Raid to Metal Treasures and started a thread about Crash Alley and since have found another cassette demo by them. In the first photo below some of the tapes that have no band info on the front are: Broken Toyz (pink tape on top), due right is Big Bad (signed by singer) and due right again is Cats & Dogs. The cassette with the curvey cat drawing is Syngiin-Lookin' For Some Kitty (with my all time favorite non comedic rock song that is just flippin' hilarious called "Get Off My Hair") This photo is 100 of the tapes I have, I've got a few more since. Of note and not pictured above are KK Wilde (signed by the band), Early Warning-The Hero's Dream, Sedated Souls, All the Lemons demos plus the advance of Sturdy with Jim Paulson on vocals, etc...
  21. Well I'll be, I had no idea rockstars aged!!! Huh. Have you scheduled your blood tranfusion yet ala Keith Richards. Happy Birthday Pete. Terry
  22. Thumbs up. Reminds me of Slaughter. The production is certainly top shelf.
  23. Hopefully Mr. Bush will forge forward with Armored Saint!
