  1. Never heard of the Scorpions either...
  2. Back For More from Ratt comes immediately to mind...
  3. Thanks to Roger @ Wishing Well and his big sale: Biker Mice From Mars-Soundtrack Jeff Paris-Wired
  4. Yes, that sounds a lot better !! Congrats ! I wonder how "low" will these suppliers go if there is a gaurantee'd order? For me even at .50 cents a piece I'm still looking at close to a thousand bucks.... I like the idea, I just would need to see like a nickel a piece or less.
  5. That Kayak band sure is a fun group. Picked up 3 or 4 at a used shop a few years back and was quite pleasantly surprised. Can't recall what albums off the cuff, but I do know I enjoyed them. Yeah, I have 4 of their CD's as well and also enjoy them very much. I am quite into this proggy AOR stuff. The only problem is, their early CD's are getting quite expensive. It appears the count is only 2? Kayak-The Singles + (BR Music 1999 Holland)(20 Songs) Kayak-See The Sun (Pseudonym Records 1995 Holland)(11 Tracks)

  7. I though Mr. Foot was a native to the Pacific NW??? Who knew he's a wanderer...
  8. I could see Hines was not playing any where near 100% this season and of course he is getting up there in the age department, but being a fan, I want him to retire a Steeler. It will be sad to see him get shuffled off and play a season or two for another team and then go out in a fizzle. I better go nab a jersey before they become obsolete. Dirty player? I can see how some fans, especially those of rival teams could skew his GREAT play as dirty. This is usually the case for lesser athletes to try and make them selves "look" better. I love (d) watching him play and his demeanor made it all the better. Never saw Hines without a smile on his face, even after he get's/got his bell rung. Ward's a franchise player and the Steeler's ownership need to acknowledge this and make Wards ease into retirement a positive move by being a Steeler til the end.

  10. Wonder what those starred (*) tracks mean are on that Axe disc, leads me to believe those may be alt versions/live???
  11. I'm still shocked these lil' plastic sleeves are this elusive and costly?! You'd think in this day and age of disposable products a plastic slip sleeve would be cheap cheap almost free? Heck at a buck a piece you could, now I know this is what we are trying to get away from, but you could buy a "real jewel case".
  12. I don't think it's that bad. Just sounds miffed at the stagnation of the band and what they could not/would not do/get done. Also get the impression that he may have been stifled creativily and required to sound/sing like someone else... I'm sure if, by the sounds of it anyway, they could have got there shit together and toured/recorded Kory would be singing a different tune now, I reckon... My 2 cents and looking forward to this new Bones of Children project.
  13. Did thta same thing with The Tommyknockers. I've read the first 500 pages of that one a couple times and just could not plod through anymore...
  14. Uneventful game or uneventful commercials? I thought the game was great. I thought the commercials were a bit of a letdown aside from a a few gems like the one above and the Motley one. The adverts. The game held up fine for keeping folks tuned in and I must say Madonna at half time was a pleasant surprise. And agree the Kia ad was nice. Also enjoyed the as for The Voice with Betty White. And the sprites enjoyed that M&M commercial, "Wiggly wiggley wiggley WHOO!"
  15. I did and I like it! Now the hunt begins to locate the discs for the archives...
  16. That spot was definately awesome and the high point of a quite uneventful SB.
  17. Bout halfway through Life Expectancy by Dean Koontz. Good stuff, boy can this guy spin a yarn!
  18. Hey Terry, I need a hand finding out the secrets of my existence, not the reasoning behind it, that falls squarely on the shoulders of my parents and their ability to copulate....I'm looking more for what is the meaning of life. Come on Terry I'm sure you can do it....you are the wise one with all the knowledge. You are THE find a song or lyric man Awww shucks (head bowed scuffing my toe in the dirt), as you know, sarcasm will get you everywhere. ANd to answer the question: It is the search for THE most amazingest, rarest, awesomest, indie hard rock, AOR, metal, glam cd in the known universe.
  19. My pleasure man! Happy to ablige.
  20. Hey Terry - Yep, I'm going to be tour managing the run, apparently so I will most likely see ya in Seattle Excellent. Let's definately get in a little face time while your in town...let's do some e-mailing and set something firm up!
  21. The first clip/band is called Hustler. The album Play Loud!! Killer stuff! Here is another You TUbe clip. The second tune is JeanGenie written by David Bowie from the Aladdin Sane album. Obviously the clip you upped is a live one, with a little Love Love Me Do by The Beatles medlied in the middle. Not 100% sure that this is a "Bowie" performance or a cover though? Certainly sounds Bowie-ish in the vox at times, but I not that hep on Bowie live, especially what sounds like some older performance... Hope this helps.
  22. Cool! I have IN Triumph (2006) and it is really solid record. Are you gonna be in town (Seattle) Dave? Gonna have to go either way... THanks for the heads up.
  23. I went to high school with George Hernendez, the bassist for Panic. Good guy, we shared a grip of classes together.
