In the mail yesterday the new release from my good pal and SEKS front man Rock Hart and his solo effort Hart-The Conqueror. The most bitchin part of the whole deal, not taking anything away from the tunes cause they are killer is the fact that he released this limitedly on cassette. That's right cassette... He did release it on cd as well... Go snag it while you can as the cassette run is 50 (I got #2) , you get the music digitally too with the tape purchase, which I think is a great idea and obviously highly cooooollectable. Oh and for all you Julian Angel fans he is all over this thing shredding liking a mofo! www.hart-rock.com

Oh, this is priceless! The tell tale crinkling of cellophane...just make sure to have a bag or two of chips up there to "mask" the sound. And it is priceless the things we do to fuel the obsession.

I was fortunate to catch them supporting the Lizard cd and they were REALLY REALLY good live (itty bitty club was a plus)! Oh those harmonies! Still got my Jason guitar pick from the show and the advert poster from the venue. One would wonder if they could still hit those notes... If it happened I'd check em out.

To end the week, we were awoken by an inane advert for who knows or cares what...I hope this isn't an indication of how the day will be going.

WHat he said X infinity! I really LOVE (D) this band and the 3 releases I have always get regular spins, the debut mostly though. I enjoyed the reference in this new song to "Teen Wizards". I'd want to know what he thinks of the hard rock community of today compared to its heyday? And of course if their will be any west coast appearances, IE: Seattle-ish???

You need to find a new station! I know but their are only 2 "rock" stations and both play the same mix of nu metal and Jimi Hendrix.Or I could switch over to one of the 2 "classic rock" stations and hear the same Jimi Hendrix tune every morning... Are you from Washington? Do you get 92.9 KISM? I don't recall a ton of Hendrix on that station, but it's been a long minute since I listened to it. I'm not as big into classic rock as I once was. Well, at least I don't much care for what they play on radio. Yes I am. I'll give that one a go, usually its KISW 99.9, 104.9 The Brew, KZOK 102.5 and KJR 97.5. The first two being "rock" and the later two being classic rock. We also have 107.7 The End, but that plays WAY to much 90's crud... This morning was better Metallica's Four Horseman and then the beginning of My Darkest Days Pornstar Dancing.
