  1. The alarm clock has been on a country station the past few days as it reminds me of home. I think this am was a Hairy Underwear, I mean Carrie Underwood tune about Tornadoes blowing in cellar doors or some such drivel. What a DRONING song...
  2. Man I remember the ones that got awa before my first show, I was in junior high in the early 80's and missed Blackout era Scorp's, Diary era Ozzy, etc... My first show was AC/DC on the FLick Of The Switch tour. 2 unknown bands opened the show Fastway and Quiet Riot! I should rephraze, Say What You Will was getting regular airplay and I of course had the tape and LOVED it, does anyone else remember those sleeveless checkerboard t-shirts from that tour? And Quiet Riots Metal Health was already radio friendly at the time too... AC/DC's show was arena splendor to the Nth degree. With the 21 gun (canon) salute, the "hell's" bell and Angus mooning everybody, Brian also gave Angus a shoulder ride through the dome at one point. I was an innocent sophomore in high school, 15 years of age and I was loving every second and the show obviously warped my little brain. I remember during the title son"Flick Of The Switch" during the chorus/line "It will blow you sky high." Some army guy from Fort Lewis, the show was at the Tacoma Dome in Washington State, shot a flare into the air and the thing stuck/caught the insulation/roof of the building on fire! Of course we all thought is was part of the show until the news the following day... 2nd show and now I can't remember which was first, pretty sure it was, Ozzy during the Bark At The Moon tour, with a severely drunk and poorly sounding Motley Crue opening in support of Shout and I can't recall the first act, but I do recall that Waysted was on the bill and cancelled... OR It was Twisted Sister supporting Stay Hungry with openers Y&T (FUCK YA!!!!) and again a third act that I can't remember, maybe Culprit or TKO (I want to believe it was a "local" band. Both of those shows were at the Seattle Arena.
  3. Woke by my own free will this AM as I was tossing and turning with concern over the new day...

  5. Great band and they have a pretty tasty back catologue as well!
  6. Weekends over, so tomorrow will be a wake up call, will be weird as I am in Portland, solo, so no sprites or the Misses for five days...
  7. One man's gibberish is another mans Theroux...
  8. I still think someone should monitor this... Maybe we could put together a list of all us usuals with some pertinant information so's one of us could check in on ourselves regularly. Just a thought.
  9. That's some kookie wild shtuff... I'd listen to some more. And the singer could song title me whenever...
  10. Your obviously single and still have control of the TV...
  11. I still call or get called by James every week and although the economy and such was very unkind to him, the man has had a really tough go the past few years, he is getting his feet back under him (he actually has 2 fairly decent jobs currently) and is bouncing back. James did, unfortunately, sell his collection and believe me he still talks about cd's and what he had, but he just couldn't keep it. James is a great guy and I'm quite happy to call him friend and wish him the best always! Take a minute and PM him as Dave said, he does pop in from time to time...
  12. UNknown tune, some 90's drivel, but job well done...
  13. Agree to what? Don't leave us hanging young squire... Happy New Year kids, 2013 is a going to be a wing dinger for me, I hope the gamble pays off...
  14. Sounds good to me and the album cover gets supreme bonus points...
