  1. So it looks like Rosberg has just been on the back foot for the first few races. I agree Peter, what goes on off the track is very interesting and this year it will probably be more entertaining than the races!
  2. Cool, it's not such a lonely club on here after all I'm looking forward to the race this weekend but i'm away for the night Saturday night and busy Sunday so will have to record it along with World Superbikes and watch qualifying Sunday evening and the races Monday evening
  3. Machine Head - The More Things Change... Machine Head - The Burning Red Machine Head - Supercharger Machine Head - Through The Ashes Of Empires Machine Head - Unto The Locust Machine Head - Bloodstone & Diamonds Mansun - Attack of the Grey Lantern Mansun - Six
  4. Maybe i'm a bit too young to really appreciate Ozzy period Black Sabbath.
  5. It seems we are the only ones the Stefan. It's not been as good since they changed the engines last year i reckon.
  6. Me and the missus are both motorsport fans and watch MotoGP, World and British Superbikes and F1. Does anyone else follow any of the races on here?
  7. So did Ozzy peak as a solo artist or as a member of Black Sabbath? Personally i prefer his solo stuff and the tracks i've favourited by Sabbath are from albums after Ozzy's departure.
  8. Lita Ford - Lita Little Angels - Young Gods Little Angels - Jam Lostprophets - The Fake Sound Of Progress Lostprophets - Start Something Love/Hate - Blackout in the Red Room Love/Hate - Wasted In America
  9. Interesting, apart from Shot in the Dark i can't remember any of the other tracks on The Ultimate Sin but it has been years since i heard it. I would have thought the Randy Rhodes era would have been chosen by everyone but obviously not.
  10. My cousins son loves this band and the tracks i've heard have been really good but i'm yet to listen to one of their albums. I was under the impression they were going places so i wonder that the other opportunities are that Matt is pursuing. I've never seen The Voice so i've no idea who the new dude is.
  11. Is that commercially, creatively or both?
  12. I'm glad to see i'm not the only one on here with a varied music taste
  13. Twisted Sister has to be Stay Hungry, i loved I Wanna Rock when it came out! and We're Not Gonna Take It got played to death for years afterwards. With Ozzy the debut was such a strong album (Mr Crowley and Crazy Train are great). I'm not sure whether anything that followed topped it. However we could separate out a commercial peak with Shot in the Dark or No More Tears being contenders? Did Blue Oyster Cult peak with Agents of Fortune due to Don't Fear the Reaper? I don't know their discography as well as the first two.
  14. This got an absolute hammering in Classic Rock Magazine
  15. Lillian Axe - Love + War Lillian Axe - XI: The Days Before Tomorrow Limp Bizkit - The Unquestionable Truth Part 1 Limp Bizkit - Gold Cobra Linkin Park - Minutes To Midnight Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns Linkin Park - Living Things Linkin Park - The Hunting Party
  16. It sounds like it's been recorded in an abandoned well. A deep one! Like the tunes though
  17. They may look odd but they sound good. On one of the Classic Rock free CD's there was a track from Micki Free covering Jimi Hendrix in fine style. Combine that skill with the sound of Crown of Thorns and i'm in
  18. I've been giving Private Parts quite a few listens and it's grown on me a lot. It's made my fav playlist. Cheers Geoff *thumbsup*
  19. Gamer Nice concept and a lot of shooting stuff
  20. Jeez mate, your playlist is consistently a nightmare! How many albums featured on this site do you actually spin per week? I know you've noted before that you haven't heard a lot of the classics. Mate, cast these ones aside and seek them out! I don't think you'll regret it. My double shift Tuesday: Erika - Cold Winter Night Erika - In The Arms Of A Stranger Erotic Suicide - Abusement Park Amsterdam - The Santa Clara Syndicate Anberlin - Cities Anberlin - Never Take Friendship Personal Erotic Suicide - Perseverance Escape - Hyp-Selfnosis Essex - D7 Europe - The Final Countdown Europe - Out Of This World Fret not there is a system in place I get given lots of random stuff to try and i try to keep in touch with most genre's so i'll split my weeks listening into three segments, 5 compilations, around 200 tracks from the start of my to listen to folder and 200 tracks of what i'm interested in listening to. I should get to listen to a wide split of music using that strategy and it's a joy to stumble across some hidden gems from time to time. My fav style of music is still what is talked about around here though. So today i've got pass the random stuff and i'm starting the more interesting tracks: Beyond the Black - Songs of Love and Death A Big Goodbye - History In Rewind Big Sean - Dark Sky Paradise Bill Medley - Damn Near Righteous Billie Jo Spears - The Voice Of Billie Jo Spears Billie Ray Martin - Deadline For My Memories Faith No More - Sol Invictus Hinder - Far From Close Hinder - Welcome To The Freakshow
