  5. Roxx Gang? admittedly i've only heard the first two but that debut will be hard to beat!
  6. Yes i think so. I like pretty much every track on One Day Remains. It's sound is great and there is a power to it. They've tried to add too much to everything since and it's ruined the sound of the whole. It's hard to explain. It's as if they are trying too hard to be clever
  7. Alterbridge, their debut was brilliant and they've not matched it since.
  8. I have fond memories of Whitesnake '87. My best mate at the time had it on Cassette and it got played on repeat along with Iron Maiden's Live After Death for a whole summer. Whenever i hear either of them it brings back great memories. I love both of those albums.
  9. Hello theczar, nice music taste!
  10. I spoke too soon. Who I Am on Undiscovered Soul is a really good track.
  11. Ironically i'm just listening to Richie's first two solo albums. Stranger in this Town is pretty good, Rosie is a pretty good track. I'm halfway through Undiscovered Soul and nothing has grabbed me yet. It sounds like a below par Bon Jovi album Haven't heard his last album apart from a track that came on a free Classic Rock Magazine which i wasn't impressed with. I think Richie has lost it too but not as bad as Jon
  12. I've got a few favourites by HCSS: 1. Hardcore Superstar – Liberation – Bad Sneakers and a Pina Colada – 2000 2. Hardcore Superstar – We Don’t Celebrate Sundays – Hardcore Superstar – 2005 3. Hardcore Superstar – Don’t Care ‘Bout Your Bad Behaviour – Beg For It – 2009 4. Hardcore Superstar – Illegal Fun – Beg For It – 2009 5. Hardcore Superstar – Sadistic Girls – Split Your Lip – 2010 6. Hardcore Superstar – Last Call For Alcohol – Split Your Lip – 2010 So that's 6 tracks from the 9 albums i've listened to so far. Yeah pretty average
  13. What about 'One Step Away' and 'Giving Yourself Away'? - two of my fav Ratt songs come from Detonator. I remember i listened to them a lot back in the day, Detonator got regular playtime in general because it's the only one i had on CD back then. I've just gone off Pearcy's voice i think
  14. This thread has gone crazy Geoff, Nothing's real is my favourite 21 Guns track but you have a point. There isn't anything else on that album i'd listen to again. Autograph. I only have two tracks i regularly listen, one from Sign In Please and one from Loud and Clear. So for me those two albums are on a par with each other. I haven't heard a Steel Panther album all the way through but i plan to change that soon. Metallica's Kill 'em All? Really? I can't agree with that one. Nor can i agree with Motley Crue and W.A.S.P.. I agree with Alannah Myles, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam and Thunder though The rest i'm not familiar enough with
  15. Whoa! I only know Bad English and 21 Guns! I agree with Bad English but i liked both 21 Guns albums and i'd have trouble separating them
  16. Queensrÿche - Empire The Quireboys - A Little Bit Of What You Fancy Racer X - Street Lethal Racer X - Second Heat Ratt - Out of the Cellar Ratt - Invasion Of Your Privacy Ratt - Dancing Undercover Ratt - Reach For The Sky Ratt - Detonator Reckless - Disorderly Conduct Reckless Love - Reckless Love Reckless Love - Animal Attraction
  17. The press raved about Last Look at Eden and i couldn't hear/see what they were hearing in it. I'm the same with this one although it didn't get quite as good reviews as Last Look. Bag of Bones slipped by me but i presume it's of a similar style to this one.
  18. Very good call on Linkin Park, that one is obvious! and agree with Hardline and Darkness. I really need to listen to that Robin Beck, i've seen it mentioned in quite a few places. Don't know Live and i'm not really a fan of Halestorm. Slipknot is an interesting one. I've only heard the first three and the debut was great but i also like Vol.3. I'm just not sure whether i like it more than the debut. I will listen to the latest two soon.

    Books

Just started Sex, Drugs, Ratt & Roll: My Life In Rock by Stephen Pearcy & Sam Benjamin I'm only a few chapters in but it's been entertaining so far.
  20. Don't know Steelheart yet or Wildside and have only heard Sven Gali's debut which is very good. Can't think of any others at the moment
  21. I really really want to like them, honestly, and it's not that i dislike them either. Detonator is playing now and Can't Wait On Love is good track but along with Round and Round that's about it. I think it's because Stephen Pearcy sounds exactly the same on all the other tracks. There is no variation at all. The guitars are great but not good enough to outweigh the vocals.
  22. I'm adding Ratt to this subject. I'm listening to them now and the first four albums are bland apart from Round and Round. Really samey and a bit flat.
