  1. If it's not too personal, could you tell me why? It just sounds interesting. I don't think I could even think of a Summer, or season, or even year that would be my favourite. I live experience to experience. I'm happy to share Give me a couple days after an evening where I've had a few too many drinks and I'll send you a PM with all of the details. It's a fun story and fits perfectly for the time. I might have to send it in parts as there's a lot to tell... and my memory of the time is pretty damn good! Coming Soon...
  2. Not a good song at all. And what sucks even worse is that Jon's voice sounds fairly strong here... I'm guessing he IS capable of recording a big arena-rocker in the vein of a Slippery / New Jersey era type of track... but unfortunately I know that will never happen again. It's a shame. SWW turns 30 this Christmas. How cool could it have been to reunite with Richie and tour with Slippery When Wet front-to-back as part of the show? That album was such a HUGE part of my late teenage years. Summer of 1987 was awesome with SWW and Hysteria all over MTV and on the radio. Looking back, it could easily rate as the greatest summer of my life.
  3. PLEASE give us PHYSICAL media, Andrew. I (personally) will not buy MP3 downloads nor even a Memory Stick type of thing. I want COMPACT DISCS in my collection for this one. Would be REALLY cool to have good artwork with some artist insight regarding the "Making Of." Thank you! I hate digital...utterly pointless when you're talking re-issues and vault stuff. CD or die! That said.... ALL MRR stuff will be available as digital and streaming soon. But not at the expense of a CD release, which will always come first. Fantastic news. Please keep us updated on this one. And once again, some insight from Arti as to when and where and perhaps with whom specific tracks were penned and recorded, etc. would be AWESOME. I'm a sucker for those little historical facts and back-stories... especially with something like this!
  4. A LITTLE TOO EARLY has a cool Blue Tears feel to it. I don't get terribly excited about most new releases or reissues now-a-days, but this is one I REALLY wish was available TODAY!

Would be REALLY cool to have good artwork with some artist insight regarding the "Making Of." Thank you! I don't think that's an issue. Has Andrew ever released anything solely digitally? Not to this point, but there's always a first time, especially with the possibility of close to 50 songs. That's like a three or four CD set.

  7. **** it, I ordered it from the band's site. Such a great album back in the day and special for me as I graduated from high school in 1986. We're ALL 30 years older now... I'm looking forward to my older self enjoying this one with the older band.
  8. I'm not usually one for box sets, but this could change my mind. Upwards of 50 songs or more? Heck, many of those unauthorized released tracks already sound great... a proper mastering could be epic!
  9. Going to see these guys here in Portland, Oregon October 22nd. DRN always puts on a great live shows.
  10. Don simply doesn't have the vocals or overall rock n' roll chops to pull this off at 80's light-speed any longer. Remember, Under Lock And Key was released in 1985. That's a **** of a long time ago! I take it with a grain of salt and I'm happy the boys were able to finally put their differences aside (even if just for a short time). Damn I loved these guys back in the day. Pilson's THE man. He's been the backbone of Foreigner for some time now, too.
  11. Very similar to the Def Leppard re-recordings for me. Certainly not terrible, but nothing will ever top the originals in my opinion.
  12. Did you get that special edition? You mean that special "Free" edition? No, I pay for all CD's in my collection.
  13. Ordered my copy yesterday. Looking forward to this one.
  14. Perhaps a bit, but it's a great rock 'n roll history lesson none-the-less. There are SO many questions concerning things like the "Red Leather Pants" I'd love to have answered. For instance, exactly what make and model of speakers are on Ratt's "Invasion Of Your Privacy" album cover? I've been trying to figure that one out for years (not kidding). Yes, I'd like to know more about the gal on the cover as well Can't speak to the speakers but for the gal and yes she was as looker for sure that is the Tawny Kittain. And information is endless on line about her and the wonderful life she has led. As Keith will attest to I am sure, but check out the b movie the perils of Gwendolyn and you will see a good amount of ms Tawny. Tawny was on the cover of the EP and OUT OF THE CELLAR. The gal on INVASION is Marianne Gravatte, and she was SMOKING HOT back in 1985! Check out this cool site for album cover (girl) info: http://www.vh1.com/news/21011/more-true-stories-of-iconic-album-cover-women/

  16. No Joey Gioeli either. And believe it or not, Todd Jensen is a REALLY good bass player and background vocalist. Of course I'm a bit biased as he's from my hometown of Portland, Oregon.
  17. LET IT GO is sooooooooooooooo damn tasty. I cannot wait for this one. I plan on pulling the plug and ordering the limited edition CD and vinyl option... depending on shipping charges to the States, of course
  18. SUCKS! I remember VERY well being first introduced to the music of Warrant early in the summer of 1989. I purchased the cassette tape almost immediately and absolutely played the living hell out of that one. DRFSR, New Jersey, Skid Row and Twice Shy were in pretty much constant rotation in my Celica's cassette deck all summer long. Good times!
  19. You didn't like the original OPERATION MINDCRIME? My God it's absolutely brilliant.
  20. When can we pre-order the limited edition CD?
  21. Back in 1992 I was one of the biggest Hardline fans around. Unfortunately they've been a major disappointment to me since. Losing Neal Schon and Deen Castronovo certainly took its toll.
  22. Now that's a great AOR track! Perfect song for Autumn. I hope the rest of the album follows-suit.
  23. Dude still sounds great. Looks as though he's been through the ringer about a dozen times, but sounds great!
  24. The Japanese bonus track is REALLY good, by the way.
