Agreed, I was just thinking of the Southgang singer but couldn't remember his name. Jon Bon Jovi is tremendously overrated to me. His best songs were written by Desmond Child anyway. Butch Walker is the guitar player for Southgang not the singer. Oh yeah, I stand corrected. The principle stands though. I gotcha. Yeah he is the singer for Marvelous 3 though, who I enjoyed, frankly I prefer Butch vocals, that's just me though. Not really a fan of M3

I like it a lot as well. It's not suppose to sound like Harem Scarem or the band would have put an album out. That's what solo records are for...to express your other musical interests. If it's not your cup of tea, then don't buy it. Simple... I disagree with this statement! Harem Scarem is no longer a band, so this is not really a SOLO cd, the new HESS cd sounds like Harem Scarem. It's more for a band that is still together and one of the members puts out a SOLO cd that sounds like the band he is currently in.

Hour and a half to 2 hours YIKES!! Well thats not that bad. I've made that length of a drive for a show. PLUS bonus is the BIG E Fair is going on that day. So come up early make a day out of it. Hope u can make it. jk We'll see. I've been to Chicopee to see Danger Danger and Firehouse, that is about the same.

Welcome! Great taste in music, some of my favorites also.

ABSOLUTLEY!!! Like i said, i promise it wont dissapoint. I do plan on dropping one more sneak preview tune within the next few weeks. I can say that much. I honestly am just having a hard time picking which one! lol. I have it down to 3. Thing is, im waiting on a particular song to be completed mix wise to consider that one amongst my choices. Let me ask the HH board this.... the next tune/preview. Would you want it to be a In your face fist pumping rocker, A BIG Arena ballad (this one is huge btw. Think Whitesnake meets Def Lep!!) or a great sing along feel good top down tune. Discuss people :-) i like the commercial rockers myself with a great sing along chorus.

John, All I have to say is, with all the new stuff that has come out(H.e.a.t., Dynazty, Hardline, etc.)and stuff still to come (Eclipse, Hess, James Christian),people still are waiting for and asking about Tango Down. That is a good thing! Right?

I could never pick one year as my favorite. 87-92 just awesome stuff!

My wife's the same way... I'll pull out some obscure nugget of trivia while we're watching TV or whatever and she'll just roll her eyes at me like "What-EVER, you geek." Perfect example: my kids were watching some silly children's movie on Nickelodeon a while back and during the opening credits I noticed that the film's music was composed by Roddy Bottum. I sez "Oh wow, I know that guy! He used to play keyboards for Faith No More!" -- my wife looked at me and said "WHY DO YOU KNOW THESE THINGS?" Wimmen... sheesh... Must be a bloke thing, I do that too. I'm pretty good at recognising voices, so when there's a voice on an advert or animated film I often tell her who it is, expecting a reaction. She couldn't be less interested. I have to keep reminding myself that my wife is never impressed by anything I do! Like when Sebastian Bach was on Spongbob, the kids were watching it and I turned to the wife and said that's Sebastian Bach! she just looked at me for a few seconds, I said the singer for Skid Row and got NO response at all.

I just have to state that he definitely looks super super white in that picture lol. Pasty white with red hair!
