'Reborn In Sleaze: A Tribute To Dave Lepard' is due for release on October 1, 2011 by Street Symphonies Records. The CD, which pays homage to to the original Crashdiet frontman who committed suicide on January 20, 2006, will contain a note in memory of Dave Lepard written by the American journalist Brian Rademacher, editor in chief of RockEyez webzine. The latest addition to 'Reborn In Sleaze: A Tribute To Dave Lepard' is Shining Line, a supergroup whose self-titled debut album was released in 2010. The lineup who recorded "Back On Trakk" is composed by the founders of the project Pierpaolo "Zorro 11" Monti on drums, Amos Monti on bass, Alessandro Del Vecchio (Edge Of Forever, Eden's Curse, Lionville) on keyboards/backing vocals, Stefano Lionetti (Lionville) on guitar and Josh Zighetti (Hungryheart) on lead/ backing vocals. I start this topic to present you this new AOR project led by my close friend Stefano Lionetti, which sees me involved together between others with the SHINING LINE team and some other GREAT guests! Your opinions are really welcome! Here's the official press statement: LIONVILLE (out on June 10 - Avenue Of Allies Music) A high profile project dedicated to pure AOR, drawing inspiration from acts like Toto, Richard Marx, Survivor, Boulevard and Bad English. The record was produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio (Edge Of Forever, Eden ’s Curse, Glenn Hughes, Axe) and it features a cast of top flight musicians and song writers. Lars Säfsund of Work of Art is handling all lead vocals, musicians include Bruce Gaitsch (Richard Marx, Chicago, Peter Cetera, King Of Hearts), Tommy Denander, Erik Martensson (W.E.T., Eclipse), Sven Larsson (Street Talk), Arabella Vitanc (Alyson Avenue) and the Shining Line team.
