A band I quite like without blowing me away. Some nice tracks on all their albums

As mentioned, first album was great, 2nd was good, but to be honest I gave up after the 3rd one which was a bland as hell. I'll approach with caution

Some of this is really good, Our Fairyland, Right Now, Loaded Love, but when they try to change style and up the tempo on the harder stuff, it doesn't work for me, Golden Troops is utter crap and Rise isn't much better. Not too keen on some of the vocals either if i'm honest. Not a bad album by any means, but they need to leave the 'Metal' stuff well alone

You're not wrong there, the last album was below par and the new one has Bog Average written all over it. A shame for a once great great band. i

Love those Southern Sons albums...absolute heaven, as are the first 2 Noiseworks discs, Touch especially. Will be checking this new one out for sure.

Very nice album with a very Street Talk/ T. Bell vibe. Sugary sweet, but consistently good for the most part. Thumbs up from me

'No Mean City' was one of the first albums I ever bought back in the day. Still play it and enjoy it, along with some other Nazareth albums. He was a mighty fine singer, with an unmistakable voice of top quality...he'll be sorely missed

Not bad, but not very inspiring either.

I go fairly regularly. We have a good rock club 10 minutes away from me and I've seen Grand Slam and Inglorious there recently. Cats In Space are coming up in December at The Stables and next year so far we have Lordi, Kris Barrass Band, Mike & The Mechanics, Muse, Maiden and Springsteen

I had a great time and I got to see loads of bands I wouldn't normally get to see or meet. Saying that, if I hadn't been in the band, I probably wouldn't have thought of going or been able to afford it either, as it's not a cheap trip once you figure in flights from the UK, hotels before and after etc. It was a great laugh though and I'm glad I got the opportunity to attend.

Soilwork and Tears For Fears are both excellent

I got the box as it's nice for the collection and I'm a bit of a sucker for these 'Fan' boxes that come out...(some are decidedly better than others it must be said). The new tracks really do add to the overall album and as mentioned by Karpetboy, is a nice touch they have been added in to the sequence of the album, rather than just being lazily tacked on the end as bonus tracks...A great album just got even better
