I mean I even like "Water's Rising", "Sad Day On Planet Earth" and "Deep Red Shadows", but the dreary gloomy shit gets old disc after disc. Like I said before, Steve shouldn't call this Lillian Axe. It's nothing even close to what Lillian Axe was. He's tarnishing their legacy. It wouldn't even matter if Ron Taylor was singing on these albums. It's still the music that has you wondering what the fuck Steve is thinking. If you want to do Near Life Experience, do it. But don't have NLE's music with another band and call it Lillian Axe.

Not necessarily true. I've listened to it relentlessly, and I'm not sure I can pick a favourite from this release. It's easily my favourite album of theirs. It really is a strong release. I think it's more consistent than "Domino Effect" and it's right up there with "Lipservice". I'm hooked on this disc!

Been listening to a lot of these dudes since Steve Lee's death. Noticed there wasn't a poll for this release, which is going to turn out to be the last with Steve. What is your top tracks on this? My favorite is actually the bonus track "Ain't Enough" followed closely by "Unspoken Words", "Need To Believe", and "Don't Let Me Down". "Shangri-La" has really grown on me the last few days also. Kickass disc!!

The Merri Hoax demos were never released I'm guessing? I see nothing on that band when you google it.

It's the most kickass hardrock/aor/metal site I've been on. Dan and whoever moderates does an outstanding job. I didn't realize that there are actually 3 sites you dudes have to add discs too and I realize they all have to be reviewed. To answer your question Dan, it was Rhino Bucket's latest disc "Who's Got Mine" that I submitted way back in December and it's still not listed. No big deal. A few weeks?? Try months!! I don't know how many CDs get submitted in a given week but goddamn, it shouldn't take MONTHS to add a CD to the site. I also feel as a newbie my opinions don't matter.
