  1. Heart- Passionworks Royal Thunder- Crooked Doors Shogun- s/t
  2. Dying is easy, living is the hard part. I just read the whole Hurricane scam thread and this fucker got off easy. To quote the mighty Black Sabbath, "watches the flames get higher and higher".
  3. I'm always open to new Vain music, but not for that price. That said, I hope the cd does come out.
  4. Some others to check out; Femme Fatale, Princess Pang, Bad Romance, Toronto, Two of a Kind, Cell Mates, Smashed Gladys, Private Life, Vixen, Pleasure Bombs, Headpins (Darby Mills), Chrissy Steele, Phantom blue, Precious Metal. I don't have my ipod with me, but I can find more.
  5. I would have to say Ratt- Out of the Cellar. Not that Ratt ever made a bad album, IMO they are all great, but the debut was stellar.
  6. Just smashed a couple of Flying Dogs spiced with Old Bay. Sounds crazy, but they were actually decent. I would tell you what I had for lunch, but who the fuck cares. It's all about the beer!
  7. Black Sabbath- Trashed. Iommi kills it.
  8. It's the "solo of the day" thread, 29 pages long. I'll reply to it to bring it back up.
  9. Oh, and 24 hours of Clint Eastwood movies. My wife and kids are thrilled. Not really, but I am.
  10. I just laughed out loud at this. Damn funny, plus I'm hungover. Thanksgiving is a GREAT holiday. Tons of food, beer and football. What's not to love?
  11. That wasn't cheap I bet...I've been looking for years too....another that needs to be reissued.... Awesome! I've been looking for that one since forever. Really does need to be reissued.
  12. Survivor- It's the Singer Not the Song
  13. Thin Lizzy but all songs are solid. Le Mans has a great song named Bad Reputation as well.
  14. As of right now, my favorite melodic rock album of year is: Maragold- s/t Of course, things can change but this is just a great album imo. I've always enjoyed Greg Howe's guitar playing and Meghan's vocals are the perfect fit. Awesome stuff! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2HmV2lR9KM
  15. You da man!!! I've even got that album but was too hung over to put it all together. Thanks again brother!
  16. A buddy of mine was on the road last night, he heard a song on Hair Nation that went along these lines: "Tell me, tell me that", he said it was a live song and the singer was talking during a break in the middle about drinking beer and jack Daniels, some girl stealing his booze and getting sick (maybe ludes as well). Not much to go on, that's why I'm looking for help from the experts. Any info is much appreciated.
  17. That's what caught my attention, the cover. Thanks a bunch for the info Darin. Much appreciated!!
  18. Anyone have this album? Description of sound? Samples? Any help is appreciated.
