Agreed Geoff, Westworld was a great band as well. Check out the Riot album "Army of One". Incredible album that, while heavy, is very melodic as well.

Not the way I wanted to start my day. Love so many of Riot's albums and, honestly, could find something to appreciate on ALL of their albums. Quality was name of the game when it came to Riot. Sincerely hope he's in a better place: Mark Reale, the founding guitarist of the legendary metal band RIOT, passed away earlier today (Wednesday, January 25) in a San Antonio hospital due to complications of Crohn's disease — an ailment he has battled for most of his life. He was 56 years old. Reale had reportedly been in a coma for the past two weeks after suffering a subarachnoid hemorrhage on January 11. RIOT said in a statement: "To friends and fans of Mark Reale and RIOT, we are deeply saddened to confirm that Mark has lost his battle with a lifelong illness. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated by Mark's family, friends, and bandmates at this difficult time."

The Rock Goddess set is badass and, of course, Motorhead rules. More quality footage of classic shows rotting in a vault somewhere. Every time Doro plays in Virginia at Jaxx a car full of guys comes up from North Carolina. You may know the one guy.. He goes by the name Dio (cool guy). If his name is Dio he's gotta be cool!

Shrink-wrap machines can be had pretty cheap. Or you can do it yourself with Saran Wrap and a hair dryer. My job had a shrink wrap machine years ago. My co-worker used to shrinkwrap his friend's c.d. Plenty of sellers on Amazon and Half are trying to pass off used crap as new thanks to wrap machines. I was just recently bitching about it in another thread.

I've been able to listen to this once and it's excellent. After more spins and the chance to wrap my head around it, I feel that it's going to be stellar. Kind of ironic but Arch still has a major set of pipes. Alder, on the other hand, has been less than impressive on any recent material (imo of course).
