  1. Damn I can't wait for the new album.
  2. http://www.zona-musical.com/postt355465.html
  3. My thoughts exactly. If it be a recent performance I'm not excited as A: it will contain new crap and B: it won't have Steve Clark in it.
  4. I thought Dizzy has given up trying to reunite them. Another album with Tommy would excite me a lot.
  5. Upload it to Vidler or one of the others. This video was on youtube ages ago and seems to have disappeared.
  6. This is on Gallery and no other CD as far as I know. It's a great song and one of their best for sure.
  7. I've always been curious as to how the US version sounds since I'm a big fan of the UK version with Moody and Galley.
  8. You ain't kiddin'. He looks like an old lesbian now. This is not the face of a rock star. This is the face of a middle aged dyke who lives with a lot of cats and runs a natural food market with her "life partner" Where's the Melissa Ethridge t-shirt? Great, now I have to mop up the drink I spat everywhere!
  9. Which is very true for a lot of bands on this great site, but I still don't mind them being listed here. I think we should be a little more open-minded towards different tastes. After all it's all about "Heavy Harmonies". Some like them, others don't. But that's not necessary, imo. You win some, you lose some ... you can't have them all !! Totally agree, but come on, this is the Red Hot Chili Peppers! Yeah, I'll be totally honest. About 99% of the bands mentioned in this thread so far I don't actually like at all... in fact most I strongly dislike. As is the same for hundreds of bands included on the site already. You are correct, Bernd, that we cannot all like everything on here... but yeah, there's just something about Red Hot Chilli Peppers. They are just that bad (to the point of being offensive) that it would somehow ruin my day if they ever graced these pages. I wish I'd never mentioned them now.
  10. Haha! I hope the announcement be Collen's departure and the rehiring of Pete Willis. I remember hearing that Vivian joined Def Leppard because he was tired of doing heavy metal technical stuff such as the stuff he did in Dio. If that be true, he got what he wanted and now he's moaning about it. God, Phil Collen is an arrogant so and so. It isn't his band, he wasn't in it from the beginning, his [expletive] doesn't sound great and the albums that were written after he joined are all poppy and sub-par. Def Leppard hasn't interested me for ages.
  11. Sorry mate, would have to object to this one heavily. Object to what? That their later stuff is pop crap or that their early stuff is OK? Haha... whoops... sorry to be unclear but it would definitely be an objection to any suggestion that they deserve a place here. I consider their music to be close to the opposite of what this site is all about. IMO, anyway. Oh OK. That's fair enough. They're definitely at the bottom of my little list anyway and I have no problem with their not being included.

  13. Firehouse - Don't Treat Me Bad Warrant - Big Talk Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction Bryan Adams - Thought I'd Died And Gone To Heaven Winger - Seventeen Danger Danger - Turn It On Red Dawn - Flyin' High Giant - You Will Be Mine 38 Special - Caught Up In You Bad English - Best Of What I Got
  14. My first choice would be Bachman-Turner Overdrive. I submitted two CDs of theirs before but they were rejected. Their music is classic hard rock and there are only a couple of songs I don't like by them. Other honourable mentions. Grand Funk Railroad; Huey Lewis And The News (I started a poll about this that got a close "no" vote. The people spoke and that's fair enough); Trapeze; The Cars (I understand that quite a few of their songs are unsuitable); Spin Doctors (poppy vocals but quite good funk rock on closer inspection); Red Hot Chili Peppers (same as above but their later stuff is pop crap); Little Feat (perhaps a little too soft); Free (perhaps a bit too early); Yes. I'll go with BTO though.
  15. I think one of the reasons why they're not on the database is because of how well known they are. Musically (from what I've heard so far) they're no harder or softer than Henry Lee Summer, John Parr, Bryan Adams, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon and others that are on the database already. If they were less known, there mightn't be as much (understandable) prejudice against them from people who despise the same old songs that are played on the radio again and again. This song is probably my favourite by them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaTQAaJWW54
  16. Born Again is mostly a great album although a few songs are filler. The change of singer was a bit of a shock when I first heard it but once I got into Black 'N Blue, I genuinely got into Born Again after I found a new appreciation of St. James' vocals.
  17. January 27, 2011 Warrant is currently in the studio working on the follow-up to 2006's 'Born Again', the band's first with new lead singer Robert Mason (formerly of Lynch Mob and Cry Of Love). Lead guitarist Joey Allen posted the following update regarding the upcoming CD, "14 songs with drums and bass done! 7 songs have rhythm guitar done...we are smokin' along!!! It sounds killer and Keith Olsen is GREAT to work with. This may be the best Warrant CD I have ever worked on, everyone is firing on all cylinders...wait until you hear Mason tear it up...KILLER." http://www.sleazeroxx.com/news/00082.shtml
  18. Thank heaven for that. I thought we were going to have a Chinese Democracy situation.
  19. I'm really pleased Quiet Riot are back and hope they release a new album soon. The singer sounds very similar to Kevin but it's a pity Carlos isn't involved.
  20. Here's Dean Davidson's (ex-Britny Fox) latest offering. It's quite good albeit a bit mellow but still a good song. http://www.deandavidson.com/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbclW00JewQ
  21. Former Britny Fox singer Tommy Paris is now in a band called Phoenix. http://www.phoenix2005.com/ http://www.definitivetalents.com/phoenix/song_list.htm He plays bass and also Jamie Borden, his drummer bandmate from Paris's previous band Jillson is on drums. Here he is playing bass in Phoenix. http://www.myspace.com/tommyparis/photos/43388636#{%22ImageId%22%3A43388636}
